anyway here's mine currently (still on Vista for a few more days until my upgrade arrives) I kept the backgroud but got objectdock on it

Also, I apologise for the extremely large image, but I figured this is the best way to see it

well, in the mean time I added a slideshow function to my desktop, you don't happen to know a site that has some nice (Full HD) wallpapers

No i just use google images, and you can set the exacct width of images you want to find, just click options on the blue bar below the search box, and click Larger than or Exactly.

Digital Blasphemy is a good site for epic hi-res papers.

I had a look at it, epic appears to be the understatement of the year here , there are only 2 downsides: You have to pay for the best ones and the fact that I haven't found any in my screen's resolution (1920x1080)

Yep, the free ones are all to small and you can tell very easily they are CG.

Use google images, instead of one site you get hundreds/thousands, and you can filter be colour/size: For example this searches for red cars that are 1920x1080.

Created using Stardock Fences and Windows 7. If you hover over the Fences, a scrollbar will appear for more programs. If I don't use Fences it gets quite cluttered.

Unfortunately, I had to reduce it too 800x600 ... it doesn't do it justice, really.

CasperVG and Androman, nice to see I'm not the only one still using the nice old windows classic taskbar.

Still have the same desktop on my main computer, which is mountains in Debian and a painting of Genghis Khan in XP.
Now, here is my laptop, an EeePC 701(Ancient by todays standard, yes...) with a 800x480pc screen, so I can give you the full image here.



Not much of a desktop to view on this one though, so it's more of the awesome WM and my self made theme. Running Debian Lenny with AwesomeWM.
Background is plain black, since I run all applications except terminals in full screen. And making the terminals transparent would tax the processor, which is downclocked to 113mhz for maximum battery time, ~200minutes, pretty decent for a two year old lappy.
