Looks good  ;)

Are these 2 cars modelled or props?

I can send you better modeled cars if you want.

Thanks

I take you don't like my boxy attempt at cars  $%Grinno$% :D

Anyway I finished up the multiple re-renders before I saw your offer...

Here is the final product.

The Observatory is still an overhanging prop; but it now has a lot associated with it.

The actual 'building' is the statue that I modelled (probably as poorly as the cars!)

Also I added another offset prop to visually join the underground driveway to the lot.

Oh no you stole my idea  :D I had this on my very-long-to-do list.

It's amazing, I love it!  &apls &apls

Great work Matt.
You are really outdoing yourself, you BAT faster than your shadow!  &apls

Amazing work Matt!  Now we just need a naked Arnold sim and recreating LA 1984 in SC4 would be a snap  ;D

Thanks guys

Seeing I've uploaded a couple of BATs that increase IHT demand, it occurred to me that there possibly isn't enough variety in the IHT custom content sector. Especially while I was testing the modding (albeit in vanilla mode) the same Maxis BATs grew again and again.

I figured after all of these years of growing, they should be successful enough to upgrade their premises.....

I may do some other Maxis stalwarts and release as a bit of a pack - I'll see how the mood takes me, as my work usually picks up a lot over the next few months, so there may not be a BAT every day  ;)

The interiors modelling looks great, and so the concept. This stream of great Matt's buildings has been really wonderful for all of us, simple players!

Excellent work with the interior lighting. It provides a nice glimpse into these facilities, without being too revealing; I like how their purpose is a bit ambiguous. My only suggestion would be to tone down the reflectivity on the metal. Right now, it looks like brand new, polished chrome. I'd suggest using the Arch + Design "brushed metal" material as a starting point, I always get good results with it. :)

Love both of these! Have been wanting an observatory for a while, as well as something to crown the top of a hill I've been working with, and can always use more of those big IHTs. Great  &apls

We desperately need modern IHT and research/development buildings so its great to see the above! Looks excellent

The idea of revisiting Maxis buildings has always been appealing to me.  Who knows, maybe this will even provide some of these businesses a fair shake to get back into all of those cities that have blocked them, of which there are many.  :P  I-HT is a little neglected it seems, and this building will provide a nice boost to that sector.  The design is quite slick, and the interior view is a nice touch.  Good work, Matt!

Wow, lots of great stuff since I was here last.

The nightlighting on this and the observatory is nicely done and each is really unique, both day and night.

I-HT is really needed and always welcome.

Nice modern building and fantastic observatory &apls

Thankyou all  ;D

For IHT - I'm following Maxis' lead in so much as I am aiming for very shiny surfaces...as well so much high-tech industrial uses highly polished surfaces, like this:

Especially when a BAT (such as Havoc Bio) takes a more 'warehouse' type form - which in Maxis' language belonged to I-M, the shiny stuff helps to easily define its function in game.

BATs such as the next one, however are far more self evident in the function. For Pedriana's  upgrade I based it very loosely on the VoestalpineStahl Service Centre building in Austria. It's an 8x8 IHT
