Nice work on the latest BATs, Matt.   I'm sure I'll be using the Casa de Manana Condos, although I'll probably stick to the temperate version since I tend to avoid palm trees.
Find my power line BAT thread here.
Check out the Noro Cooperative.  What are you waiting for?  It even has electricity.

Here are some rural power lines.

Wow Matt you have been doing unbelievable work on these past BATs and have got me thinking, what about trying some of London's Thames-side condos and apartment complexes?

...just a thought, thanks.

Thanks guys

Those top and bottom pictures are reasonably suited to GMAX, the middle one not so given how much glass there is (Max is much better suited to that). If you can let me know where that top picture is, (edit - I found it....one bedrooms for just £950 per week...bargain!!!!!) I will now add this to the to do list....

At any rate, these new apartments are a dime-a-dozen....so here's a rare sneak peek of what is coming up:

EDIT 14/12/12: they are release and are available here: http://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/28292-waterloo-apartments/

Nice ! I can't wait to download it.

Great looking modern apartments - I think they would fit in both urban and suburban cities just fine.

So I was snooping around your maxis low density replacement thread and I was curious if that project had hit a standstill, or if you still plan on releasing those great models.  The R$ really interest me because it seems difficult to find a variety R$ models that can fit in among the maxis R$ models (scale wise, especially).

Thanks for indulging my curiosity :P

THX Matt  :)... I like these latest condos as they give a fresh mid-late 90's look... well done 5/5

Thankyou all: glad you like them

@ Simcoug, the Maxis replacement thread was being worked on with the BAT props pack replacement. When my computer crashed, I lost a some of this work. All the models are fine, but I hadn't got around to backing up the lots/modding....these will need to redone as they were lost. It's certainly on my to do list, but rest assured I am working on it in the background.

Another one I am testing to be released soon is:

4x4 lot shown (there's also a 5x5 lot). These two lots are all 45 degrees.

It also comes in an ortho that can be used as modern W2W:

1x1 and 1x2 lots. Both 45 degree and ortho are in building prop families to randomise things a little.....based on the stone, brick and cedar townhouses around Portland

nbvc

Looks great. 45 degree buildings are always rare.

Great BAT and equally great lot for the diagonals!

Great. They look quite posh. R$$$? Would be great to have some high-wealth W2W options.

Cheers

Thanks guys, I'm rather pleased with them....the lotting actually took quite a large amount of time for the 4x4s and 5x5s (almost as long as it took to BAT them)

They're not high wealth given how small a footprint (both building and land) that these occupy. Plus, hip roofing never looks too flash in a W2W environment - if I made them R$$$ they would pop up too often, which is not really what I was after with this project.

That said, you can build some reasonably unique layouts with the diagonals....tick-tack-toe anyone?

Anyway, they can be downloaded here:

Thank-you... like for all the reasons stated in the variety it gives to the grid... Merry Christmas...  :)

Thanks Jack

I'd forgotten about a building from page 21 (a year ago  ::) ) which I had actually packaged up in an installer and thought I'd released it....I blame oldtimers disease  :P
