Alright!  I knew we'd be seeing your excellent signage here soon!  This is going to be some very fine roadgeekery here, I can just feel it . . .

Edit:  And welcome to Page 2! :)

Great start, Burgsabre!  All this roadgeek talk has me waiting to see what you have coming next.  Your interchanges look great!  I can never bring myself to devote that much space, so I always admire the ones that really do it right!

Nardo:  Thanks for the reminder!     It's been taken care of.  Please let me know if you have any further suggestions.

Pat:  Look no further than right here, right now.   :P

Alex:  Much, much more to come!   ;)

JBSimio:  I used to do the compact-interchange thing; it was kinda the thing to do when you only had the Maxis highways to deal with.  I'm glad to see you here - hope to hear more from ya!

Update 3 - Twenty-Five Years In

Ah, a quarter of a century in - and the City of Ontario Shore stands at just over 13,000 residents.

Here's some shots from the western part of the city (mostly residential & commercial):

Ontario Shore City Hall:

Some industry & the newest beachfront:

A new port / industrial area, complete with connecting railroad:

I'll try to throw some more roadgeek stuff in for the next update; as well as show off the next city I've started - Murray.

Let me hear y'all - I love hearing from you.  You're the reason I do this.  :)

Until next time, take care!

DINOMYTE!!!!

I agree with that!

Ontario Shore looks like it's developing quite nicely, my friend! I like City Hall and the stadium, and of course, your RHW work!

Can't wait to see more!

I don't very like the design of your city ... But I'm sure you are going to have a better city

Pat

Ryan, Great looking MD. Your roads are great, as in the general layout of your town. I must echo what Pat said though, the grid has got to go!

I'm looking forward to your next update!

Cheers,
Kevin

warszawa

You have a lovely transportation system and some wonderful usage of PEGs trees to make the city more 'alive'. Both this city and MD are bound to grow quickly! Good luck with future city managements and can't wait to see another update.

RippleJet

I like the layout of the networks!
The lack of repetitive orthogonal blocks and the RHW.

The inhabitants seem to be spending quite a lot of time in the sports fields! ::)
Maybe they aren't playing/modding SC4 to the same extent as we are...

Does Ontario Shore need all those nine waterpumps? $%Grinno$%
Or is the surplus exported?

Tarkus

Another fine update, Ryan!  I really like the way in which you've broken the grid with the street layouts and the RHW looks fantastic, especially the way you've made it a bit more "scenic"!  And I look forward to seeing Murray. :)

Looking very good here!  I am loving the use of the curved road puzzle pieces!

paroch

I am glad to see that you've made plently of provision for sports in your city - nice touch!

Rodney99

Very nice RHW layout  :). And i like how you aligned trees through the median. that looks really cool. Great work!

rhythmandjays

Nice updates! I'm looking forward to how the beach front develops. I'm a sucker for beachfronts  ()stsfd()

Sorry about the delay, folks - RL has bit me in the posterior rather severely.  I will get to some replies right now; the next update should come within the week.

Ryan / Filasimo:  Boom!  That's what that there dinomyte does.  :P

Dustin / thundercrack83:  You ain't seen nothin' yet.  ;)

n3w-y0rk-city:  I'm sorry to hear that.  Hopefully you'll keep following along and see what I really have in store!

Pat:  Thanks for the tips!  Those will definitely go to good use.

Kevin / BigSlark:  It's goin', it's goin' . . . .  :P

warszawa:  Thanks for the kind words & good wishes!  :)

RippleJet:  Just wait 'till I put in hockey rinks.  ;)  And, to answer your question, Murray buys the surplus water off Ontario Shore.  Nothin' like symbiotic relationships, eh?

Alex / Tarkus:  Hurry up on that next RHW version, and I'll be able to truly work magic.   :P

Daryl / pilotdaryl:  I look forward to signing Midwest to a deal when I get the airport built.  :)

NASCAR_Guy:  I wholeheartedly agree.  Murray will feature a state park, so you will get your wish.

bat:  Thanks!  :)

Haljackey:  Once the FAR stuff comes out, it will get much better.  ;)

Paul / paroch:  Sport is an essential part of Orleans County Culture.  (For any hockey fans out there, 'the OC' is chock full o' Sabres fans.)

Rodney99:  Nothin' like a scenic median to decrease the environmental impact of these highways.

rhythmandjays:  The state park in Murray will feature beachfront.  I think you'll like it.

Until the update - I thank you for reading along - and I bid you all a great weekend.  :)

Pat

Hey Ryan I will be looking forward to that update!!!  I'm glad I was able to help out somewhat....
