Welcome to the wonderful world of MDing tysonway. Looks like you have some decent development going on. I always like to see how people play on hilly terrain. A couple suggestions for you would be to turn off the UDI icons and remove the pause border (either by taking pictures witht he game unpaused, or by editing it out with an editing program) to cut down on things distracting from the picture itself. Also, turn off the grid ('g' key) unless you're using it to illustrate something. It makes the pictures much smoother and cleaner. Looking forward to seeing what else you'll have to show.

Ever thought about downloading a slope mod? It will make your cities look more realistic.

A great start otherwise.

I like hill building since it poses a challenge if you want do it decently. As graesloek suggested you wight want to download a slope mod to make everything look even more realistic. Seeing as the second picture represents "tha hood" it makes sense that there is a lot of dilapitation.

I like those suburbs on those hills  , and I agree with everyone else to get a slope mod, or at least terraform to smooth out the roadways.

You're improving, but I think you need some more custom content.
Do you have the Network Addon Mod? It adds a lot of transportation options. The mod is overwhelming at first, so when I first got it, I installed it little by little. I would start off with this:
Diagonal Streets
Double Height El-Rail and Monorail
Custom menus
Alternative rail textures by dedgren
All roundabouts
All Turning lanes
Traffic Simulator Z High

but you get the idea. and i give credit to the person who did this region
of oakland, and SF area. this region is HUGE. and i had to crop the pic
a little bit cuz i use sc4mapper and the other areas are bright green.
but i will take care of that soon.

Happy new year every one. heres a small update. the main city of Oaktown has about 120,000 residents. this pic is of Oaktown South, and has about 4,000 residents {so far}

That's a lot of highways in your overview shot!  I like how your industrial are is looking in today's update, it's very nice and green!

Hey guys thanks for the kind comments. this will be the last update for today, here is a arial shot of Oaktown South. i might build a small downtown to this one also. currently 6,000 residents, oh yeah and sorry bout the dollar sign in the ocean i dont know what happend there haha.
