It's a wow effect.  :o The road layout is great.  I see three tunnel entrances, and am curious where the other tunnel leads.   ???
The scenery looks beautiful.  &apls  &apls  &apls The angular coastline also fits very well.  ;)

Very nice pic Arthur.  I like how the highway goes through the treed area in the middle and how the houses surround the entire area.  I bet there are some really nice trails in there.
I wish you and yours all the best in the coming New Year!
Robin

Hiroshima Region - Akitakata [1 Jan 2012]
« Reply #1208 on: January 01, 2012, 05:34:45 AM »
Thanks for the comment, guys. Much appreciated.

Today is the day for Hiroshima's first update of the year 2012! And we start with some pictures of the town of Akitakata, located in a a valley between two huge mountains.

On this mosaic picture, you can see the Kawamuko make and shrine.

The train station, it is deserved with two train per day ( one in the morning, and one in the evening) from Hiroshima.

A little north of the town center.

The Lake and shrine again.

A regional runner train passing by the downtown.

The train station over again.

I hope you guys liked this update, and Happy new year 2012 everyone!

see you soon for more!

Arthur.

The combination of the natural, rural, urban and layout of streets and roads is well done.
