Well, I'm from London.  BUT, not the London you think of when you think London.  I am from London, Ontario, Canada!  So, hello there!

there would be so many jokes in there, i bet you've heard them all, right?

Just googled London, Ontario... on Google Maps it looks kinda like a distant suburb of Toronto, or a half cousin of Detroit... somethwere in between. Is it built up or quite low key... a lot of R$ and C$ or is there plenty there....?

Well, we are stuck RIGHT between Detroit and Toronto.  Highway 401 connects the two cities together, and we are at the mid point (200km each way) along the route.  The highway sees a ton of traffic (the world's busiest), but luckily, the highway bypasses the city all-together.

Google Maps/Earth's resolution for the city sucks.  For a centre of nearly 500,000 people, we have a terrible image.  It is true though, some people will commute 2 hours to either Detroit or Toronto each day to work.  The city is built up, lots of apartment complexes, because the city is trying to limit suburban development.  Most residents are R$$ and work C$$ service/office jobs, although there is some I-M and I-HT in the city but no I-D thankfully. 

Oh and yes, I have heard most of the jokes about us.  If you want to know some more, look the city up on Wikipedia!
