Hi Cèdric,

what lovely snowy pictures! Unfortunately I missed to comment them before Christmas as I was on my way to my parent's home.

I hope you had a merry christmas and some contemplative days. Best wishes for the coming year!

My dear Guinea fowl,

what a devotion to this game and this project of Antigone.

This year was rich for VIP Team, we surely show that something great could be done with people coming from different horizons (batter, modder, lotter, MD) but what's the best with this experience is too share with the others and to continue to build our friendship :)

We and not only VIP members should congrats you for all your work and your devotion.

What about next... what a pity you will leave us so early this year without a safe future.  :(

Thanks for this retrospective and fabulous pics :)

Happy new year to you and family  ;)

hey, Cédric.. i'm gonna quote one thing I remember you said quite some time ago, at the very first start of Antigone..

Quote from: Badsim on January 24, 2007, 04:57:44 AMCreate an entire realistic region with this level of details isn't my preoccupation and really beyond my patience ( and surely competences ...)

Well, I think with what we can see from here, you are very, very beyond that. You've overpassed yourself, man. Chapeau bas l'amis.

Ps, i'm still speechless about the pictures. Some are nice, Some are excellent, but most of them, well all of them are outstanding.
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

Those are real fantastic pictures! Every single one of them tells a little story without words needed to explain it!

And at least all the effort you took to make everything fit just perfectly in size and style!

Brilliant final for the year 2011 ... best wishes for the next year to you, too!

I know I seldom post here, but that is a work of art. Beautiful, natural, and realistic. Everything seems like it's been plucked from real life and brought to the game. Very nice work, and happy new year to you too.

It's amazing, my computer downloaded the images slowly but I saw them anyway! :D

I would congrats you for all the work you gave for one year now, you had not so much time to care about the city, but when you had some, you modded, you lotted, you re-sized, etc. I'll never have the patience to do a thing like this! I think that if the creator of SC4 or the developpers would see that, they wouldn't recognize their game as it's far as the starts.

So once again, CONGRATULATIONS CÉDRIC!!! &apls &apls &apls And HAPPY NEW YEAR   to you too, et comme dirait Borloo aux Guignols "Hé, Santé!" $%Grinno$% en tendant une bonne coupe de champagne!

Fantastic work Cédric & Happy New Year!  ;)

Have the Louvre, Tate Modern, Centre Pompidou or Musée d'Orsay called you yet?

I expect they will.

That is art. I refuse to believe( ;D ) that that's a game you're playing.

What more do you want me to say??!

You pictures are exactly what my mind conjures up as a village setting when I think of one.

I think I'll just sit here and admire. I am short of words and this genius  :shocked2: :-X

Epic symphony...  &cry2

Champclause illustrates perfectly how could have been a dreaming simcity 5...  :-\

Every single picture is a masterpiece, the best way to close this stunning AntigOne's year.

Thank you so much, you make my dreams with the guinea fowls,

I Wish you all the best for the new year and your new IRL projects.

See you soon my friend

Yann

Hi Cédric,

This is an astounding set of images. Considering that you made these all in one year, there are moments I ask myself: how did you find time to eat and sleep?
All are of superb quality and attention to detail.
I hope you have a good and positive reason to be absent. Something like a long wanted job on a location without internet. Not, please, something bad like a stay in a hospital without internet....
I wish you all the best and good luck in 2012!

You worked very good on the terrain & you can see that in the result.
Fabulous pics.

What an incredible eye you have for the land and the things on it, Cédric.  I know that I saw some of the scenes you have shared with us here from the window of the Paris-Milano TGV this past fall.  Alas, though, my camera was not near so good as your perfect vision.

My best for the new year, old friend.

Champclause...  &apls

Between Yann's road trip and this update about Champclause, the end of year 2011 is pretty rich for the SC4 community... This is just amazing, my eyes are crying right now  ;D
I missed Santa Claus pictures which are really nice ! :)
Also I can see that you manage to have a ground texture that fill the blank between R6 Bats and the SAM street, that looks good :)

Your creations are always very inspiring, I think for most of us... Thanks a lot Cédric :)
Happy new year, hope to see you here quite soon ! :)

Amazing, Just an amazing update, my friend !! With these pictures you can represent many things;

- For you, it is a great and hard job, because every lot have many little details, This requires a lot of patience, a lot of technique, a lot of time, etc...but finally, always you can do it, you can do a lot of real scenes with everything in their site, every detail, scene, picture, lot, etc, it's always just perfect.

- For us, see every picture is like a special class, we can learn many things here, we can enjoy looking your pictures, we can found inspiration, even, we can found some real scenes, because many of your scenes are like a real moment. Who has not taken a train ride up the mountain ? Who has not had to stop his car to make way for the animals ? Who has not seen the farmers working in their fields? Yeah my friend, you represent the real moment with a PC game, for me, that's pure art  :)

Finally, I wish you a great 2012 Cedric !!

Stunning pictures, stunning work, lovely symphony!
A perfect compilation. It's like a good movie or song that you can watch over and over and discover new details every time.
