Ooooh - that looks like a very nice place to relax!  :satisfied: That yellow catamaran give a perfect touch to the picture

Wow, looks great Natuurzoon.  The golf course on the left makes it really look like Hawaii.

This is my first pic here, and it really isn't much.  I was just experimenting with ploppable water, flora and rocks, and wound up with this.

I kind of like how it turned out.

I thought the same thing. Great job, Natuurzoon!

bwatterud: Your experiment looks pretty good so far. I love all the lilypads that you've added to the ploppable water. I can't wait to see how you use it within the game!

Natuurzoon: The colors flow so well together, and what a place to have a golf course... I would just hate to slice a ball over the trees (and hit some unfortunate person on the beach). I'm curious to know how you made the beach transition like that. It all looks hand plopped. You did a great job with the pier/wharf and the flora underwater looks stunning. For your first post here, you have certainly hit the ground running. I'll be looking forward to more.

bwatterud: Not too bad for an experiment. A couple of things I have noticed in my experience:
-a good variety of rocks and flora (types and densities) improve the look of the edge of the water.
-try to vary how far the flora grows away from the shore. It makes the flora look more natural instead of just a line hiding the edges of the water.
Aside from those two points, it looks like a very tranquil spot. I look forward to more.

bwatterud and thundercrack83, your both right then, almost, the region is based on hawaii and some other area's

threestooges: what do you mean with the beach transitions, ho it changes in the golfourse and that path?? well, i just use a lot of trees and plants to hide the edges of the lots. and indeed, everything on that pic is hand plopped.

Really nice guys,  well, except (no offense to either Gilligone or Jeronij please!), I really don't like Jeronij's sea walls in that situation Gilligone, they are great but I think too industrial for that beautiful park.  Have you thought about using the new ones that are on the LEX (Cal did some, which are super, but I think Colyn's (?) new ones are Fab! and would fit the scenery much better.)  See these: Malta

I think Fred_Ginger has a point regarding the seawalls. However, this large park is amazing ! Great job Giligone !

Shadow Assassin

Not too bad, though, jeronij's seawalls really aren't the best for a commercial area. Actually, that's a good idea. I think we should bug jeronij to BAT some more seawalls once he finishes that dam. :P

INCREDIBLE! INCREDIBLE! INCREDIBLE! Shadow Assassin ! That pict is definitively one of the best I ever seen. Seems that you took it from Google Earth. You should present it to Masochist's pict contest...you already have my vote!

Take care!

Shadow Assassin

I'd post it, except it seems that every time I want to post a picture, either I just miss out or it's almost at the end of a round. :P
