I've started my region from zero, once again I had to take the decision to start from zero. This time the main reason was the new nam...Finally the new version of NAM is working fine with all my japanese mods and I took the decision to start from zero to give a good use to the new NAM which is amazing... I've made some changes with the terrain mod as well and the most important I've made some adjustments in the residential and comercial values...Now I think I can get a good and realistic result with the people which is working and living in my region... another important point is the transport system, I've made a map in photoshop with all systems in my region and now is easier to me to built them, with that transport system I can get a realistic result...Like the big cities in Japan, I want a BIG comercial district in the center of the region and most of the residential zones in the surroundings...in that way people use the transport system, trains, highways, etc... to get the center and their jobs and then they go back home... so the transport system is the most important thing in my region and the main reason I start from zero again...

This time I will start to built my region from the center itself, that means that we will see more urban areas. The new Saitama is inspired by Tokyo but I will take some places from Osaka as inspiration too. I want and I will try to make an update every week. I still in love with this game and all its possibilities and I'm sure I'm able to create a big and realistic japanese region, such as Tokyo of Osaka...

I got some questions;

Would you like to see some videos ? for example, me working in some parts of my region ?

Would you like to see some updates showing the progress and not the final result and in that way share your advices ?

I love this community and I would like to keep working and sharing my projects with all of you SC4Devotion.

Greetings to all of you and Merry Christmas

Videos and work in progress updates are more than welcome. :)

I see the size of the region is quite large. Are you sure you're gonna finish it? At first I was playing large regions too, but I find it way easier to build and actually stay motivated when the region is small.

Missed few last updates...  :-[ saw them all and they are great!  :thumbsup:

Good luck with your new project! I find its pretty hard to recreate some big city like Tokyo because lack of BAT for the dense midrise apartments area. anyway I would like to see how much you can recreate it and honestly cant wait how much you can do with it.

Hello guys;

Thanks to all for the nice comments. I appreciate it  :thumbsup:

I will try to make videos and share all of them here and to start with that, today I want to share with you the first video.
In the first video you can see my region and some of its interesting points, in that way you can see and understand in a better way what I want to do with my new region.

Nice to see another project from you. :thumbsup:

I like this video, because is not too long. I think you'll gain more viewers if videos are not too long. Although I know some things requires more time to be explained.

I moved twice, and recently got into EY.. so as you would know, time wasnt on my side.. everything is good now, so of course, time to get back!

Anyways, great update, and I hope you keep em coming!

romualdillo

I liked the video, but I was a bit disappointed because I expected some development  :P. Anyway, it's an excellent start, and as Kergelen said, its length was perfect. This is going to be a great project!  :thumbsup:

What resolution are you playing the game? It doesn't fully fit the video, I think it'll look better if it does.
Nice region, quite big.. Lots of areas to develop. :)

Thats a quite big region to play on.. its will be interesting how it turned up after you develop the area.
also, I notice that you have various city sizes (small and medium mixes) should it kinda easier to play in medium size only? just wondering.

Anyway cant wait to see next update! :D

Good video! Subscribed, of course ;) And repeat the words of the previous commenters - it's huge... I've never built up such big area, even though I'm playing one region for 8 years :P Waiting to see your next steps!

P.S. btw, it's the first time I hear to the music from SC for... actually I don't remember, but long time :D
Thank you for visiting Kolbrów, and for being for last ten years!
