Ah, hair on the keyboard..my old favourite.  Nice update Glenni and a great shot (and a great name) of Catalina.
The trouble with having an open mind, of course, is that people will insist on coming along and trying to put things in it

Ennedi

I like your city, Glenni, especially the bridge

Best wishes for Catalina!  ;D

As you can see, there used to be a building on this grass lot, but it was bombed in world war 2, and never rebuilt.Well, it was kind off. The tenants were relocated to the nearby council estate.

Not exactly a very nice place to live... but i guess they were needed after the war...

An abandoned building, rimour has it, that it's haunted, though very unlikely.

You can see the rich area to the right. With all the dark trees.

Some more of the ghetto area:

Though, what you see in the bottom does not count as part of the ghetto.

The rich area:

This road is called Admiral Schaugens Vei.

The Royal Park Grounds:

Some towerblocks out in the woods, you can also see parts of Lunegårds Vannet (a lake)

Lunegårds Vannet:

Two random city shots:

And finally, two nightshots:

Glenni

i'm having some strange problems, my top banner and some extra text gets cuts of at the top... &mmm
Oh well, here's the first bits:
"

Here's  another update, this time showing some ghetto areas, rich areas, and royal park grounds :P. In other news my CJ/MD applied to SCJU and got accepted. :) "

emilin

Wonderful stuff. You are a master of low wealth areas. You have truely understood the amount of wasted space that is needed to make those kind of "scandinavian" suburbs look realistic. All of those "ghettos" (as you call them) built in the 1960s are very oddly planned. It's like someone said "Hey, why not build ten highrises in the middle of the forest and then nothing more..."¨

Bravo! &apls &apls &apls

Great work again Glenni, the fauna and flora truely have a scandinavian feeling.
Also the highrise blocks in the middle of nowhere are pretty typical, not only in scandinavia but also here in germany, whole new city parts have been built that way and today they are decaying since no one wants to live there anymore. ;D

Emilin: Hey,and thanks for the reply. Anyway, even though 10 towerblocks in the middle of nowhere might appear space wasting, is that really the case? 10 towerblocks are easier on the enviorment than several kilometres of single family houses. :D

Vario80:
Yeah, when they were built, people from all areas of society lived in them, poor and rich. now it's mainly just poor people... :'(

Anyway, this update will feature the last bits of Vandals Fjella( the city itself, not the MD/CJ) and a smaller city nearby , Gulrud.
Here's two overviews of the city.

And the rest.

Gulrud.
First the overviews.

The area around the church is pretty wealthy.

Some slightly denser areas.

A few more houses....

The centre of the city.

And the lake Gåsevannet.

And last, here's a new region view

( I have to take them in game, the names go weird in region census)
