SC4 Deluxe error

Hi, I've been part of the community for a while, but I need some help.

I tried to install SimCity 4 Deluxe, but my game would give me a D:\EP1.dat error. I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix it.

If not, then would someone be kind to send me the file? I'm hoping that will override the current file, and I would be able to install the game.

Have You a legal version with a serial number ?
And why You want D: ?

I do have a legal version, but I was trying to install the game on a new computer. It worked on my old one, but it won't install correctly.

The file is the one that is causing the issue in the first place.

Copy it off your CD, then run the Rush Hour update.

Not to be rude and all, but what do you mean? I copy the file out of my CD, then I run the update? What should I do after that? Sorry, I'm just confused at to what you are saying.

You should be able to get a new copy of EP1.dat off the CD that you installed SC4 from.

Once you've done that you'll need to run the Rush Hour update from here (Link) because the file on the CD is a Gold one.
