Hello, David!

Just thought I'd stop in and let you know that I'm back from the Lone Star State! The fences are looking good, and now that I'm back, I'll be looking forward to seeing what you've got for us next!

Dustin

EDITHey, my friend- great to see you back from chasing the Boss all over Texas.  I assume you came back up I-30 and I-40 through Arkansas- hope you waved at Joan as you blew through. -DE

As far as SAM goes, since that particular PEG street texture has a transition to the road, and so do some other streets, I wonder if it could be possible to have matching RHW crossing textures to now and upcoming sets, if it is not too hard.

I've waded through about half the lots to get them to the point where I can send them out to our volunteers.  I'll do another 20 or so in the time I have left before bed.

I thought this was pretty nice, for a quickie 'speriment.

EDIT:  Oops, I forgot what I'd intended to do in the first place.  I keep a pristine copy of each quad to "doodle" ideas on, which I then erase by not saving when I exit.  Here's all I could fit of Luca's (meldolion) quad shot after I was fiddling around with the RHW.

That's about two miles/3.3 kilometers of straight-as-an-arrow R-6 just east of Black Earth.  Plop water makes up the east and west branches of Gallagher Creek.  There'll be woods all along the bottoms and farms and fields along country lanes making up the rest...

...fairly soon.

Later.

David

n.b.:  Sometime within the next hour or so, somebody will roll that page view odometer past 70K.  I note that back on February 15th, I remarked on having 55,555 views [linkie].  That's 14,445 page views in exactly 60 days, for just a shade over 240 folks per day, 10 per hour, or, if you want to get right down to it, one of you...

...yes, you (and you, and you, and you, and so on and on)...

...every six minutes.  I'm beyond humbled, and ever so grateful.  Thank you, all- You are the best! -DE

Looks great, David!  In respone to an earlier post of yours, I would post W5-1 (Road Narrows) and W5-2 (Narrow Bridge) signs on both sides of the bridge.

Always looking forward to more good news, both on the collaboration & health fronts!

Like the two new pictures there! And wonderful work on that tile!

Ahh, a quad in the nude. I must say, I like those creeks.

I owe several folks responses to PMs- thanks for your patience.  My 'puter time is still being rationed.

So far, Travis, David (bighead9999) and the NUTs, Joan (Jmouse), Dave (tooheys), and Paul (paroch) have offered to help me do some LOTting.  I really appreciate the help- that should bear fruit shortly.

Later.

dragonshardz

Wow, Jacky I'm really sorry that happened to you.  :'(

On a brighter note, I'm willing to help with a few of the fenceline lots-basic stuff only, buts that's what counts.

Shadow Assassin

Wow, that looks great.

Though, I notice your pictures seem to be a little squashed (only a little bit, mind). Any reason for doing that? Or is it just your computer monitor? :P

What  A Ride!!!!!!!!!!!! &apls

Where to start! You sir are a master. Have you ever tried Painting on canvas with a brush . You have such vision.

Some time back I followed a link for something that I cannot recall what it was for ? I'm thinking it was to do with the Gradual curved road  I read some of that page and got interested in This thing you call 3RR so off i went to the first Page!!!!!! Like i said at the start WHAT a RIDE 169 pages Took me like 2 weeks of time after work .... so many detours along the way.(yes I am gonna try to lot them trees. its one of my bookmarks from this journey)...lol  Your tutorial looks like i could follow it so I will try!

When your Wife Posted THIS......

"Hello, this is David's wife: Heather.  I need to let everyone know that this morning David became very dizzy and short of breath.  It turned out his blood pressure is very high.  Our visit to see our children has been very stressful for us, and the doctor we saw today has sent him to bed and he will be seeing an internist tomorrow.  He asked me to let everyone know he is sorry for the brief delay in the things he is working on and for the second anniversary of Three Rivers Region.  Everyone here has been so kind to me when I have not been well, and I would ask that you keep him in your thoughts over the next few days until we can get control over his health.  Thank you for being his good friends at this time."

My heart sank I Jumped to the last page in the thread to see what was happening in the present.  Great your health is improving ,take it easy ! So back i went to reading. So much effort and feeling you put into this Its hard to put into words, your passion does rub off . It is an inspiration to your readers. I saw that on my journey thru this . I know for a fact that MY citys will LOOK way different from now on .

Bless you and your Family!!

Dan

Edited ....Just a side note on that tree tutorial    the part on Page 20 has no working link to part 3. That would probably be the part i would need cause every time i have opened Ilive reader I got lost and closed it...lol
