Atrubia - Update 71: A Few Progress Pics

Update 29: A bunch of stuff, and a new airline.

This is a recent region shot...

As you can see there is yet ANOTHER airport above Abid Jakartin but that airport is an AFB (Air Force Base) for the Atrubian Air Force. Also Atrubia now has its own Airline Atrubian Air.

The livery was made by our good friend dizflip/ Giaus Baltar (over at The league of Nations website

). But this livery was made for the League of Nations only. These were not made to be distributed freely. The terminal also serves Air Jiesan...

Lotus Airlines

Oak Hill Airlines and Atrubian Air.

Now we go to Mahadna City where...

A new GLR system has replace the El-Rail since GLR is much more modular. But some El-Rail still exists.

Also a new mall has been built as shown in these two pics...

It is conveniently located next to the train station...

And a highway offramp just a bit west of this pic (facing east).

citycapitalizer: They were by yoshiiland on the STEX but now are gone for some reason. I might be able to send them to you if you give me your email... You will have to download each one individually but the malls are well worth it!

Here is the first fire station (the second will be shown a bit later).

This here is the hangar for the President's plane.

Atrubia even has its own fleet of SR-71 "Blackbirds."

I tried to create "ground traffic" so what do you think? It isn't quite done yet

Abid Damin AFB even has its own small oil refinery...

Which is then transferred to these storage tanks.

Wow black birds!? didn't they have problems firing misiles from them because they were to fast they'd just run through they're own missile?

Love the airbase. Reminds me a lot of Ali al Salem AFB in Kuwait (minus the vehicle washracks in the tarmac). Just a note, if you want to add some more realism, add some organized piles of pallets and palletized material around the hangers and add a logistics yard (more piles of organized "stuff").

That's some great work you've done with the airbase. I like the idea of putting an oil refinery nearby. It seems like it would make things more efficient. Nice work!

Actually, they were just spy planes, I don't believe there were any missile on board, just cameras.

Nice AFB though, could use a bit more jeeps for those high ranking officals to drive around in

Okay lets see um'..... The next update will come Friday so I can keep expanding my region (Pop. is about 1 mil now!). I am connecting all developed areas in the region by more developed areas so it will all blend together. I just finished the right side of the bay of Atrubia so now I must do the right. Meanwhile here are two development pics.
