superhands

Thanks Dobdriver for these two wonderful Maps

:)I'll most certainly put these regions to good use.  :P

I must say that I'll have fun re-constructing the Port. They decided to build the new Port on reclaimed soil and thus destroying the natural Leschenault mouth (70's era i think)

Thanks again,

-Dave

Thanks Dave,

It was my pleasure to put a little more of Australia into SC4, anytime.

G'Day Devotees.

Well the mapomatic has been at it again and a few more have popped from its' top like nicely toasted bread.

First up is a map for the immediate past el presidente of Team Downunder, not one he requested but one of his home port of Palmerston North. So Joel as the only TD member without a home map, heres YOURS mate.

Palmerston North is 36.864km x 40.096km.

Next up are a couple from the Furneaux Group in Bass Strait.

Cape Barren Island east is 20.52km x 30.72km.

And the west side

Cape Barren Island west is 24.576km x 24.576km.

These are a couple of nice easy playing, smaller maps for those who's computers may feel a little itimidated by larger, more rugged maps.
Never the less these maps are smokin' and available nowhere else. Get yours before they get cold.    EAST    WEST

I think that's it,
Thanks for looking and you have a great day.

Cheers

joelyboy911

Thank you, and it looks great! Looks like you got the river perfect and even got the Lagoon (oxbow lake centre-map) in there. One day, when I have the time free, I plan to do a recreation a-la ldvger's SanFran of Palmerston North, including BATting and releasing new buildings with every update of major landmarks of the region.

What, I can dream, right?  :D
SimCity Aviation Group
I miss you, Adrian

Thanks Manchou and Joel,

Of course you're allowed to dream Joel and it will be good to see it come to life.

G'Day Devotees,

The map-o-matic has seen action once again and you can get yours too, right HERE and HERE.

The first is an enlargement of a previous made map.

Things Southern Vales is 32,768km x 40.96km

Not happy about the almost tissue size of the original I made a new one near on trebling it.

The second map is another piece of the old NSW colony across the ditch.

Kaikoura is 28.672km x 28.972km

Squeezed between the Pacific Ocean and the New Zealand Alps. This was a request map and also has some small and medium tiles

That's it

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

G'Day Devotees,

Today and yesterday and the day before and.... I've been in the map factory. And well this is the result.

And guess what, you too can get this map right here off the LEX

On with the show, it's all there.
The islands, the locks, the rivers and lakes(minus some that looked like dirty big potholes). This map took about 200hrs to produce, who said map making was pushing a few buttons.

Saulte Ste Marie is 49.152km x 49.152km

This Map was requested by Fire.Fox2010, Thanks.
The only concession is the map has been lowered 175m to allow the game water into play.

That's all folks

Thanks for looking and have a great day.

G'Day Devotees,

ha ha.

As long as you've got a safe word.

btw you've been putting out some quality work while I've been "out in the bush", enough so that I think I've been a distraction. But what's life without distraction, right?

holy moley :)

Bateman's Bay looks familiar. i can remember attempting to make that one without success.  :P

I did. ;)  I make my maps with a few clicks of the mouse.  Takes roughly 5 minutes per map to convert the DEM to 16bit pngs, then another hour on average working on the maps in TF.

that may be true for some maps, but there's no way to produce all the water features in the Saulte Ste Marie map in a straightforward way (without them being horribly crude). Thanks Dobs for going to such inhuman lengths with your maps, the proof is in the pudding.

blade2k5

Actually, it's true for all accurately scaled maps, depends how much time you want to spend on said map.
