Guangzhen Municipality: Luhebei Shopping and Entertainment District. Part 1

Luhebei is the Shopping and Entertainment District of Guangzhen Municipality.

The district has an approximate Population of 20,000 but it can swell to a staggering 1,000,000 during the day when the offices and streets are full of People.

The District is noted for Electronics with large names such as Sony and Apple having stores but many fashion stores are also found such as Gucchi and Dior.

As you can see the buildings are packed in making it very dense and there is lots of old and new mixed in.

Luhebei plaza

An overview of a large part of Luhebei

An overview of the main shopping area

This is where old does really meet new with a very old Buddhist temple is across the road from a very new shopping centre. The Temple is a very popular tourist attraction but so is the shopping centre

The Apple Store

Land is very expensive and limited in Luhebei so many buildings are very tall and car parks go underground

The Sony store, the Sony store is one of the many places in Luhebei where you can give your damaged electronics to be recycled.

Hope you enjoyed the update and i'm sorry if you've seen it before

I've come across this CJ over at Simtropolis but overlooked it. I don't know why. It looks great! You've done an excellent job of creating a densely populated atmosphere. The way you've setup those shopping areas is well done, especially with the car parks (which you would need plenty of ;D). Great job!

Nice first update and I really like your flag, guessing there is quite some symbolism connected with it.

Great start, just wandered in and enjoyed your shots--very evocative of a modern Chinese city with remnants of the British empire lingering about. Looking forward to more

Awesome shopping district! It reminds me of Akihabara or Shibuya a bit, only the the streets are way smaller and there's no trains. But it's still really good.

Do you have any links to where you found a lot of those buildings (besides the ones in the japanese bat thread)? I would greatly apreciate your help ;D
