Hyperlink button not working right

Okay.     I searched and didn't seem to find what I was looking for.

I am having trouble linking (Hyperlink) to anything.    It used to work that I would end up with the word "linkie" highlighted and all you had to do was click on that.     Now all I can do is the following:      http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1690    I am not sure what I am doing wrong.     ()what()

Sorry I didn't explain right.   It isn't the link not working.   That works fine.    It is showing the the entire URL not just the work "linkie" that can be clicked on to go there.    Hopefully that makes sense.     Usually (and in the past) all that would be visable for the link is a word that was highlighted.    It would look like  this:  [linkie]     And you would click on that.   Now it always has the URL showing.    I can't figure out why.
