loving the liveries

a pity pluna (the airline with uruguayan flag) doesn't fly any 737 -700 or else i'd have posted my request on the proper topic
(some years ago, varig used to be actionist of pluna, but not anymore)
(actually, pluna has very few airplanes: a 757, a 767, some 737-200 and 737-300 but is in process of expanding the fleet)

Now for Wednesday, we resume brand-new livery delivery -- Virgin Blue by Xiziz!




I thought this may be the first one that didn't make it (due to my lighting skills, nothing to do with xiziz); I had to pull all my tricks, in order to balance white levels between the tail and the aft fuselage. The saving grace was that large red band around the tail section -- it masks the edges of the extra lights, so everything still looks natural. The same solution should apply to the normal Virgin Blue livery as well.

Coming up tomorrow, more airlines from the Asia/Pacific region...

All of the airlines featured in the Series 1 747s (like JAL) also fly the 737NG or A318/19/20/21. We'll be making them all, in order to facilitate the appearance of hub operations in your MDs. Northwest and Aer Lingus for example will automatically be up for some Airbii and many others have a 737NG coming.

This post frequency is ultimately not sustainable; I'm actually forcing RL out of the way to make this happen on a daily basis. BUT we still have a few good ones in store... more tomorrow

Regarding JAL, the texture does look a bit more red, now its a mix of orange/red. But I'm not going to argue about this.

Great work on all of the plane voltaire and it is really paying off. I'm loving the one plane a day thing. Hope this will get released soon!

Kumba, that was a bit of a shot at you by ShadeSlayer but how exactly can you be so offended by one word 'silly'? That's hardly worth reporting and SC4Devotion is one of the tamest forums you'll find. Most forums I've seen contain a lot more freedom for insults and swearing and there is never any reporting there.

Here is an interesting livery for you

hey, I know that that image was posted a long time ago... first page or so...   But DONT!! make that livery whatever you do. Nintendo holds the exclusive game copyrights to those images and has already gone after folks in the FS community for posting up both images and downloadable forms of that paint...  Project Opensky and AVSIM.com both had their sites shutdown by their ISP's for distributing copyright material. 

Most airlines have no issues with there copyrighted logos or paints being used... free advertising and all...

I don't really care how the JAL looks, it's fine by me.  Besides, sunny days are supposed to add yellowish lighting to objects, so the reddish-orangish colour is due to natural effects.

.... which is why we specifically disclaim all rights to the materials in question in our installers and read-me files. We are not the creators of the designs, we are just hobbyists (I style myself an airport nut), paying tribute to the hobby we love, via custom SC4 content.

BourneID: thanks for looking out for us, was not aware of that... no worries, passenger 744s are out of production, at Everett, and in SC4.


SOOO, anyhow....

Here is Saturday's plane, as mentioned by Owen it's TAROM, Romania's flag carrier. I like getting these developing-economy companies into this release. The worldwide air travel market is growing fastest in eastern europe and asia, and these little companies are the ones who will expand and become major players in carrying that traffic.



Tomorrow, we'll wrap up the daily deliveries, with one that nobody has mentioned yet. And btw, this is not the end of 737 production, just a pause to get a start on the airbus lineup. As mentioned earlier, there are several companies from the 747 project, plus more from Xiziz and Owen, and a few of my own that I'd like to complete before it's all done. Please keep requesting in the 737 thread, and look for the A320 family request thread soon.
