It's been a while since I had posted here, but given the large amount of work I've done, I think this warrants an update!  ;)

I've been working on some contemporary North American residences for quite some time, and am nearing the release of a first pack. The above picture details a "sketch" lot. By no means is it indicative of the final product, other than having a similar layout to what will be seen in the release. Many of the props are just placeholders, and even more are missing. Below, are the houses. For ease of modding and lotting, these BATs have been included in a building family. This makes for a greater number of choices for the user. I anticipate releasing these six in the initial upload:

Each house uses more or less the same model, with small variations made between each type. Below are several of the aforementioned houses, displayed at different angles and times of day:

This is probably the most image-intensive post I've made. Please do enjoy!

Wayy cool! Wheres the download link!?

I'm only nearing the release of the first pack. ;) Don't expect it to be out any time soon, as I am about to undergo dental surgery within the next 30 min. or so. Due to subsequent swelling and other problems, I'll be out for a little while.

From the parking lot, actually. Close enough anyways though!  :P

The surgery went okay, but they may of perforated a sinus cavity slightly, as I am having constant nosebleeds and a few peculiar feelings around the nose. They said it will probably heel up by itself. If it was large enough to warrant new surgery, they said I'd know. On the other hand, they were surprised I am not taking pain medication and that I kept my cool during it all. I even joined in on yes/no, or rather thumbs up/down conversations about Chris Hadfield with the nurses. All in all, it really is not that bad. I find many of the more serious issues have been mitigated by not going into an induced come with general anesthetic. I'm not vomiting, not in anaphylactic shock, and I got to see the whole procedure from a first-person perspective. Very cool if you're interested in medicine, surgery and how they do things. The TV shows just don't have "the same feel". :P

Beautiful work, Bipin!
Hope your recovery goes well, and glad things went well for the most part. :)

Thank you for your kind words, I'm sorry it has been long time since my last update. Long story short, I had been preoccupied with a lot of crap in my life that ranged from infections to relationships falling apart. Rather than dwelling on that, take a look at some of the progress I've made on a variety of fronts:

Those canals are based upon the grungy urban rivers of LA< which are a far cry from one of my older projects I continue to develop:

These houses are very close to being released. Enjoy!

Wow, gorgeous water there Bipin! I'd love to see you have a go at a rural version as well.  ;D

Thanks for the kind words everyone. The canals are actually an adaption of an older BAT, which was indeed a rural canal. I believe that old BAT can be seen a few pages back in this thread. ENough with old BATs though, here are some new SD fence props:

Enjoy!

I like the work you ve posted here. I NEEEED to start using  this site more!

Thanks for the kind words Sim Rico! In other news, we meet again, MSE walls...

I'll keep it short, as I need to get some sleep, but this is quite a notable bit of progress in regards to my retaining walls from months ago. I'm currently experimenting with discolouring parts of the concrete, in effort to make it look more natural, via reflections and shadows. It's akin to dodging and burning the texture, but in 3D.

As you can see, the wall is created solely with the use of a texture. This will facilitate a more rapid rate of production for MSE wall "puzzle pieces", as it will be easier to wrap textures around the borders of RHW pieces, instead of modeling the walls section-by-section. I hope you enjoy what you see! :)

Huston_N7

Wow, some great progress on those walls. I'd be eager to have them one you've uploaded them! Though it's too bad your not around the ST BAT discussions. But at least you're still posting around here ;)

Btw, I've been wondering for a while as to how you get such nice bump maps [if they are bump maps] to make the creases and depressions in your concrete. How do you achieve it? I haven't had any success in that dept, and I've wanted to know how specially for when I make more detailed concrete structures that I've been thinking of doing. Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the kind words! I've found a mixture of bump maps, displacement maps, and a diffuse map designed in accordance with the former two works best for situations like these. However, such situations require a different approach each time; you need to adjust the intensity of bump in relation to displacement each time to find a happy medium. Perhaps seeing these images will help:

Displacement:
