The long valley in the middle runs from north to south and cut across two cities. The southern city also has access to the sea. It is here on this valley floor where the heart of the Shosaloza region pumps. The sothern city is almost purely residential and the bulk is on 6x6 6x12 and 8x8 mega lots. There are sections of low density and here is where I buidl the character of the city.

The northern city is only Com and Industrial, Again the Industrial is purely 8x8 Megas.

Currently the city has around 230,000 Sims in it.

The heart of the region.

If we see the 4x4 map as a grid and number the leftside from to to bottom ... ABCD and the top frpm left to right 1234 then the above mentioned cities are a2 and B2,

Now the first city I have some details on is "Kommetjie" ... in English it is something like Small Basin and it sits at C4.

Not much left for development if you subtract the mountain and the sea.  &prt

Gascooker and Barby provided these two and the trees are my Jacarandas.

A city needs a hospital.

The rich people are there.

Building on the slopes are a challenging experience and I have also spent time in making almost all residentials Low Density to be SF.

Ok here is another set of shots from Kommetjie.

The city has to use Ferries to help with the transport.

Squeesing in some medium density housing.

Building sites are scarce  :shocked2:

A closer look.

... and one more set.

Some rich people is happy to get a spec house  ::)

Being a mayor in a cliffhanger city is hard work ... you must protect the property but then the Sims bitch about too many concrete walls. So then you plant trees again.  :D

Some more squeezing ....  &smrt

Taking to the water for more jobs.

The real lanies also moved into Kommetjie ...  ???

Great building Colyn,

I really like the slope friendly houses and the slums.

But I'm still wondering why you don't have released the most viewed pic

I love the graph Colyn, how on earth did you make it?

Nice fish farms too!

You've done very well with the terraforming, it looks very natural.
