Hi,

I am not sure this is the right plase to ask it and this is a noob question.

I downloaded a custom building and now I would like to change the base texture of this building. How can I do that? I changed base texture using Lot Editor, but I don't know how to use the sc4lot file generated when I clicked save.

Can someone give me a hand on this?

If the LE is generating a new lot file, usually that's because either the existing lot file was not in the root of your plugins folder or you used the "Save As" option.

Before running the Lot Editor, you should move any lots you plan to work on to the root of the Plugins folder. This was the LE will overwrite the changes to the original file.

You can replace the original lot with your new modified one too. If you keep both of them installed it might cause problems.
