Convert a growable to plopable?

I'm looking for a tutorial or something to convert a growable into a plopable  %confuso ..

I think the best you can do is fire up SC4-Pim, find the original model of the builing, make a ploppable building and then copy all textures and props from the growable lot into the ploppable lot.
Is that enopugh? If not I can try to be more explicit.

See .. the thing is there are 10 lots and I have no idea were the models are.
