Ooer, my bad, sorry!

Looking good there Owaen!

Heres another issue with the game, that actually allowed me to do this:

Rather than using a tutorial, this is what I came up with for this type of highway Y.

Patricius Maximus

Wow. That's interesting. Not that I'd use it -- it isn't "cosmetic".

CasperVg

I felt in that mood again today... so I present you a large RHW-10 x RHW-4 Cloverleaf.

Yes, it is rather huge, but I like it  :D

Hope you like it too,
Casper

@Carpervg. Dang, that takes up a lot of land. So far I have been able to squeeze 8 lanes with alot of ramps in pre existing cities. Are you able to use the RHW on slope over the other RHW rather than the avenue?

nerdly_dood

@ CasperVG: My advice would be to shrink the cloverleaf somewhat but otherwise it's pretty decent
My days here are numbered. It's been great and I've had a lot of fun, but I've moved on to bigger and better things.

Glory be unto the modder and unto the fun and unto the city game!

Wow. :o
It's hard to come up with something as good as that was, but I thought I'd show something that I thought was interesting. It's a CFI (Continuous Flow Intersection). There's a page about it on Wikipedia. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Continuous_flow_intersection
Edit: It's actually a cross between a CFI and a Parallel Flow Intersection (PFI). I found a page here: http://www.quadranteng.com/

An overview of the intersection.

A closer look.

A look at one of the sides.
I think I've been here long enough, call me Kenneth/Kenny.

Casper, very, very impressive!  You really know how to put new features to the test!

kj3400, very creative CFI setup there!

One I just recently built . . . you'll probably see more of it in Tarkusian Cities in a bit.

Alex and kj3400: Nice! I like that continuous-flow intersection, very creative. I'd never heard of one before.

And Alex, nice smooth interchange, love the smooth curves! ...though that's not your usual terrain mod? Looks like Columbus or meadowshire...

Comments are welcome!  And there'll be more where this came from!

Amazing the interchange my friend! :)

Um... the middle two columns there seem to be supporting the whole diagonal section... or is it floating actually? xD

Also... we need some um smooth corner pieces I think for the elevated highway.

Sorry for my bad english....

Temporary models.  They're a bit M.C. Escher-y right now  ::), but will be fixed by the public release of Version 21.

Yes, but they'll have to wait until Version 22 or later. ::)

Highway is looking good though the diagonal pieces seem to defy natural laws ;).

there are a bunch of those here in mexico... specially in Monterrey... since the architect that design those is from here...

this intersection worked as an aspirin for the heavy traffic over there... obviously... it just worked for about 2 years... then the traffic practicly ate the whole avenue and now is pretty messy over there...
