Thanks matias93! These next ones might not fit like a glove, but I needed a bit more variety in R$ Wall to Wall neighborhoods

Love it/want to live in it. Where do I sign?  :)

Grand! Unbelievably beautiful!

Very nice, moving in as I type.

Hah!

All you have to do is send me a cheque and I'll promise to start building right away  :D

Today's offering is another CS$$. This time from LA. It's long demolished so I had to take some liberties, but I really liked the hanging plants for that total retro vibe...
I had to scratch my head a bit to work out how to do the hanging plants, but they were surprisingly easy once I had a light bulb moment (and no, I didn't just download them from the web $%Grinno$%) they turned out rather well I think....

Matt, you know how to surprise.
Great starter for W2W.

matias93

let me try to guess, are they a textured coiled wire or band?

Looking great Matt!

c.p.

Nice little rooftop cafe area
Also the hanging plants do look good. So what was your lightbulb moment? I'm imagining a ripple modifier on a hedge model (to give it the vertical streaks), and then slicing most of it away, but that's probably not it.

Thanks Matt!

The modern town houses and this w2w compatible department store are much needed addtions! I wish if you had motivation to make more from those town houses with these 1x1 and 1x2 dimensions they are perfect and also I was thinking about if the 1x1 could be rotated by 45 degree and make a diagonal version of it. The 1x1 tile dimension would allow it to show up nicely I assume, and that would be quite a fantastic stuff... Fantastic new buildings you have given us recently!
Thank you very much!

I am a little late, but I would like to thank you for your "pool moment" which well before the "bulb moment" (already 7 realizations earlier but in only 2 weeks!  $%Grinno$%) we gratifier of the superb swimming pool of "Amethys inn ". Midwestern Regional Bank's : "The Curv Moment" was also extremely tasty, as was the tower one and of course the great demonstration of what should be a cooper roof in game with the old NYPD Police Headquarters.  &apls &apls &apls
In fact, I don't know if we are aware enough of the luck to receive 2 or 3 gifts from you every week: it is a real happiness!   ;D
Thanks you so much.

mattb325

Thanks guys!

I've added a very quick tutorial https://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=18439.0 that hopefully explains it easily enough. It would be great to see some more greenery on buildings  ;)

No greenery for these next two uglies, being stuck in the heart of heart of manhattan:

This time I have to agree. Those aren't the prettiest one. But every city needs some black-sheep architecture to be realistc some 'better not go there quarters.'

At least, you do UGTRUBs (UGly TRUth Bats) so still doesn't affect quality, still superb.

We all know there are also BLOBFIBs, which exist apart from UGTRUBs. And they shouldn't be confused with each others.

So you may call them ugly. But still they aren't BLOBFIBs (blobfish-bats).

mattb325

Too true! I've made a couple of blobfish bats in my time  :D

Another hotel. I liked the sculptural concrete wall (something we really don't often see in SC4) but that was about it....

mattb325

The next one is another from Sydney.

art128

I absolutely love this one!
Can't wait to put my hands on it. :)
I'll take a quiet life... A handshake of carbon monoxide.

Thanks art128! I'm quite partial to that one as well.
Like London, Sydney has these crazy street layouts that make it hard to have buildings with a lot of right-angles. More difficult to model, but worth it. These days when I am batting something I usually keep an eye out to try and source things that are a bit more interesting and unusual.
Nothing new to show, no batting as we've had lots of early season snow here and I've had a steady stream of visitors from Sydney wanting to play in it (thankfully it has mostly melted now....I don't like the logistics of dealing with snow in Australia as everything grinds to halt) but just a couple of upload notices:

The Sheraton Clayton is uploaded

And the diagonal version of the New York Police Headquarters on Centre St:

PaPa-J

Thanks for these gems Matt, but I am curious, why are you not uploading to the LEX?

Nice one, the ING Direct, compelling shape,  nightlights like taken from Ridley Scott's "Blade Rummer" a bat like a statement - the future of batting alread has begun.

Thank you!

mattb325

Thanks guys

A few more uploads:

I re-rendered a pub with an unsuitable-for-release name to one that is suitable:

Also, because I really loved the AirAsia billboard "Cheap enough to say, Phuket I'll go", I made a whole bat for it. My own version of the 'Sun and Moon Mall' from SC3000:
