I just installed ElRail mod from NAM today and I found a problem where the game closes randomly. This happens when I use ElRail dual/double decker network piece and ElRail over avenue/4-road puzzle pieces tools. I've tried only using that mod and still got same problem. can anyone help me? because i like that mod so much
Hi fachriuwu, welcome to SC4 Devotion! By chance did you place the El-Rail Dual-Networking pieces in the vicinity of a transit station or other Transit-Enabled Lot (TE Lot)? If so, that's a known issue with the base game--it's actually FAQ #24 in the NAM Documentation (http://sc4devotion.com/namdoc/5-faq.html).
While once thought unfixable, simmaster07 released a DLL-based plugin called SC4Fix.dll in late 2015, which solves the puzzle piece/TE Lot crash (and a later update also added a fix for the infamous Prop Pox issue). SC4Fix is available at Simtropolis (https://community.simtropolis.com/files/file/30883-sc4fix-third-party-patches-for-sc4/). Install it to the root folder of your My Documents\SimCity 4\Plugins directory.
