I am on the right, on the left is John Key, Prime Minister of New Zealand, who was making a visit to the shopping centre in Palmerston North today. It was a great honour to meet him. It's one of the great things about living in a small country, I feel!

Taken last year on my laptop. Had the glasses only about 3 weeks when I took it.

In recent times I've been shaving my beard once or twice a year and with spring finally here I thought it was time once again. I usually keep a mustache around for hours or days and since I don't think I can really pull of the look seriously I like to have a little fun with it  ;D

Yes, that is a tiger shirt  :D

EDIT: Decided to include a more "normal" one to not make myself look overly silly. Me and my godson a couple months ago (with same bad haircut but typical facial hair)

Sort of the Jeff Foxworthy look with the mustache

I bet I'm the only one around with a wetplate image of myself:

Sweet pic, Bipin! You don't happen to be of Finnish descent, do you?

Hehe, yeah that's pretty much what I was after. Was considering doubling down with a picture of the same thing a couple years ago, except that at that time I also cut my hair into a mullet and ripped the sleeves off my shirt. Couldn't find the picture though :D

One of my favorites of myself  :satisfied:

I think I was trying to look cool in this one, not sure if it was seriously or comically

Gee Noah...I'm always surprised at what people look like IRL, even when I already have a good idea of who they are from their posts.

Unfortunately Imageshack's site redesign took out a lot of the previous pictures in this thread. Which is a shame, too, cause it's always neat to have an accurate image of what people here on the site look like. For me I'm always stuck remembering people's avatar's, which is problematic when I know what they actually look like. FWIW, I think you look better with the beard/goatee.

And that last pic...you know, it's pretty corny, but it works as a serious pic too.

We had a wonderful chat about the City of Melbourne and the future ambitions we have for custom content creation. It was great to meet such a great person and someone who is well regarded!

You know, you read someone's posts all the time, accumulate info about them (first name, occupation, location, etc.), get to know their personality a little bit...

The RL pictures always surprise me; never what I expected. You both look good (Stephen, you look a little tired, though)!
Sounds like a lot of fun, though, getting to meet up IRL. Might have to try that myself someday.

There's no pictures of the event, but I did get the chance to meet Steve (z) for Indian food a few years back.  It was right as he was in the thick of traffic simulator research, and I was working on the first release of the NWM.
