Title: Problem running SC4 tool on Vista
Post by: tristan4eva on May 01, 2009, 03:40:48 AM
When i open up SC4 tool everything looks and works okay until i press the top toolbar and also click the toolbar in some editors. Why is this happening and is there a way to fix this?

If you are running "Aero" , you need to disable it for SC4 tool. Also , you will also need to update FSHLib dll  (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=5142.msg221467#msg221467), which Null45 updated.

Do you know you can disable Aero automatically when running a program?

In the properties for the exe of the program, in the compatibility tab check the "disable Desktop Composition" box and then when you run SC4Tool it turns off Aero

But maybe you knew that already?

Thanks :), that is even better than having to disable aero every time
