Y.H's Japanese Countryside Set (Y.Hさんの日本田園セット)

No Japanese city is complete without some rice field in the suburbs. Y.H-san, in collaboration with T Wrecks of ST, fills this hole with his latest magnum opus: Japanese Countryside Set with jobs (日本田園セット雇用付き).
郊外に田んぼのひとつもない町など、日本にありません。Y.HさんがシムトロのT Wrecksさんとともに日本田園セット雇用付きをつくりあげられたので、ここで紹介しようと思います。

I recieved some questions on this at Show us your small towns topic, so I'm making a topic here to describe this to you in detail.
Show us your small townsでいくつか質問されたから、いっそトピック立てちゃおうかと思って。

I've tried this out and I got something that looks like this:

Note: The leftmost farm in the lower pic is Maxis farmland.

Included in the set are:

• several ploppable rice fields
• irrigation ditch puzzle pieces

セットに含まれているのは

• ploppable (自由に設置可能) な田んぼ
• 用水路パズルピース

The rice fields change their appearance depending on the in-game season. Spring, the seeds are sowed and the field is filled with water. Summer, they grow and turn green. Autumn they turn golden yellow, and after harvest, only dirt remain until next spring.
ゲーム中の春夏秋冬に応じて見た目が変わります。水を張った状態から黄金色、そして土の状態まで。

How to use:

Go to this page and click on "NipponDenen.zip" found at the right side of the page. Put it in your plugins folder, and you'll see them installed in your parks menu. plop them all over to your hearts content.

Note that the rice fields appear as only patches of grass until the season changes after you plop them.

For some strange reason, only one piece, the start/end puzzle piece of the irrigation ditch, appears in the landmarks menu so watch out.

Sim-Board からダウンロードしてプラグインフォルダに入れてください。置いた時点ではただの空き地に見えますが、季節が変わると現れます。公園メニューに現れますが、なぜかひとつだけ、用水路の端のピースだけランドマークメニューに現れます。わかるまで結構探しました。要注意。

Thank you again Asahi-san for posting these incredible lots.    It took me over 2 hours to download them but they are deffinately worth every minute spent on line waiting.   
Can you possibly describe each lot showing its menu description.    I am a bit confused as to which lot is which.

Hmm, honestly speaking, I can't see what you're confused about, Gaston.
These lots are mostly eye-candy with only a few exceptions, so try test-plopping them to find out how the each lots look like. If what you plopped is what you wanted in your city, bravo, keep it there. If not, only thing you have to do is bulldoze it and select another lot.
That's all there is to it... what more can I say? Good luck on your village-building!

   Thanks Asahi-san.   When I plopped them I only saw empty grass fields.   No rice textures that I could see, so I thought they might have to grow to be seen.   The ditches work fine.    Do you think I am missing a prop perhaps?

    Hmmm I ran my name through livedoor and exite and the but came up with the same script.   I even crossed them between each other and they both translate back.    But Babel Fish is different.   LOL   Ohh well,   I changed it in my signature to something I used to use years ago.

Included in the set are:

• ploppable Japanese houses. Sadly, these are eyecandy
• irrigation ditch puzzle pieces
• several additional lots for your decorational pleasure, like a lot with cherry blossoms, a lot with daikon (japanese white radishes) hung to dry (to make pickles ), etc.

There are only 8 fields, Tambo1-8 and 6 ditches in the set. No houses or additional lots.

Sorry for being a lousy poster There were many mistakes in the first post, and have been corrected accordingly. Very sorry for the confusion, I'll be more careful next time.

The White Dragon:
Now I see what you mean. Probably because of its function to change appearance every season, they appear as grass when you plop them. You have to wait until the in-game season changes, and boom, it'll be there.

You're right.. For some strangest reason I always thought it was part of the NipponDenen, but when I took out all the other plugins they disappeared... Thank you for pointing that out and sorry for the confusion.
Now I don't know where those ploppables came from since I've got so many Japanese lots installed.

     I should have been more patient and waited a bit longer for them.     I will have to terrace up some land and then plop them in.    If you have any links to growable Japanese houses / commercial / industrial lots I'd love to see them.    I have some stuff by NOB and some others but I am always looking for more.  LOL

If you're looking for more, try Raika's site or Kei's Tokyo Urban Lab. For larger (and more modern) commercial buildings, APTX 8590 is a must-see.

For CO and industry, however, I think Maxis buildings will do because there aren't much difference.
