Thanks Kimcar, I do what I can and I'm sure there may be something wrong with the lots but ... I like them all.

Now, I made this to cover the space between the avenue curve, I still need to model something for this plaza, but I want to know what you think about it. It's a overhanging model and it's placed in a 1x1 lot. The trees are from the mayor's menu.

I guess you misunderstand what i mean, cause i that`s mean they are well done  ;D Or maybe i  missunderstood . BTW i report one of the file on the stex, cause someone use the Sunrise Towers and said that he or she made it. &mmm

Fabian93: Thanks for your comment, I will add the fences and I hope you like the new one.

beutelschlurf: Thank you, once I finished the plaza for the curved avenue I will continue to do more lots :)

adroman: Thanks! I still plan to do more lots.

kimcar: Thanks for your comment, I understood :) and again thank you. Also, thanks for telling me about Sunrise Tower on STEX, I reported that too, I hope that upload gets locked.

I made this one based on the previous plaza, still need to add some benches, lights and more.

I like the lots you made for my models.  Your urban lots have a simplicity that just seems right for the environment - it's something I can never get quite right.

The lots to fit with the curved roads are something I'd really like to see released.  Just like with diagonal buildings, all the new curved roads are going to need a lot of new custom content to make them look natural in our cities.

Thank you for your comment, I really like your models and I'm glad to know you like the lots where I used them.

should have posted before! Amazing! The sims seem to like those plazas, crowding by one corner!
Sendona... Coming soon!

tcx

kimcar: Thanks, I'm going to upload this one and make more for private use.

io_bg: Thanks, I think this will be available this weekend, the only thing that's keeping me from upload it today is that I need to see if night lights work well. I forgot the game CD at home :(.

carkid1998: Thanks for your comment!, lol the sims were crowding bi that corner because the game was paused and that version was 1x1 :)

Now

this is the final version, is 4x4 with an overhanging model (the base and lights) and overhanging props (both fountains, benches).

It has no dependancies and I deleted the base texture so they don't show ingame. At the center you can plop anythig from the mayor's menu.

I think I will include the .gmax file I used for guide so other members of the community can make their own plazas/parks or maybe buildings, what do you think about this idea?

io_bg

Looks great! Except the bit of the grass between the curve and the plaza :( I hope the NAM team will revise that curve. (I think it's textures need to be changed a bit)

Yes I know, I tried to make it bigger but then it overlaped (is that a word?) the texture of the avenue, but I'm happy with the final result :)

I really like that! I am downloading it now! Do you have any plans on doing for the other curves? This is a much needed piece! Also , the texture that you are using for the plaza...is it yours? I am wondering if it may be used to fill in the gap between the lot and the curve...hmmm looks like it would make an interesting sidewalk / curve mod project for me  Also , are those your lamp models? I like those also...could look good with a t-21 mod on my list  ;D Not to hijack: http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=5706.msg255494#msg255494

Thanks for your comment Jayson, the texture I used I downloaded from a website, I can't remember wich one, but I upload it to my photobucket account and here's the link for it http://i59.photobucket.com/albums/g301/yosoyyomero/Lots/TilesMedium0042_1_L.jpg
You are right that texture would look good with your sidewalk/curve mods.

I made those lamps with a simple line using some thickness, mapping cords and display mesh. And the lights are simple omni.

sithlrd98

Thanks for the link! Do you think you would be able to make a lamp post model with a light cone? I have attempted( not a whole lot) to match an existing cone to Mas sans model , since T-21 lamp posts don't light up with out a cone , but have not been too succesful. The small model you made would look great as a lamppost!

Jayson

Hi, I don't know how to do that and I don't have the slightest idea how to do that.

do you want the model of the lamp, I could send it to your email account.?

sithlrd98

Well , I don't BAT so I don't know if that would help ;D Its not a big thing , just liked the model and thought it would do pretty good as a streetlamp. Just outta curiosity, are you planning on other variations/sizes of this model? I think I can match the textures between what is in your model and the link you gave to create a sidewalk mod that could highlight these!

Jayson

tcx

Oki, well I hope you can make a sidewalk mod with that texture :) and if I can help you with anything just let me know.

And YEs, I plan to do plazas for the other pieces of NAM.

sithlrd98

Great! Look forward to them! Can't believe this was being done right in front of me and I didn't see it till it was uploaded!
