I've always enjoyed these sort of let's play things. Gives a nice insight into the steps necessary to create what we normally only see as a finished product. Also, neat that you had that screenshot "borrowed" by the BBC for their article.

I don't really consider this series a "Let's Play" though, more of an "I'll Play" if you ask me. People have been pestering me for years to do something like this and I finally caved, especially after the SC13 flop reignited SC4's popularity.

Regarding the BBC, yes that caught me off guard. It's funny how they used one of my SC4 images to talk about an article related to SC13. In fact, this isn't the first time news sites have used my images or used them when talking about SC13 :P.

In Parts 74 and 75, I am working on a new bridge and approaches. 74 is up now, with 75 coming tomorrow!

Today I built what is perhaps the last interchange in the city.

I guess you could consider this as a playthrough or a walkthrough, its up to you.  :P

Anyhow, Oak Ridges has definitely come a long way. Good job!
Let's face it, we all Mayors have met the invasion of Failure in SimCity 4.

Haljackey

Ya the city has really grown up since the early parts. #12 was the first one where I ran the simulation, and the city was small back then!

Part 77 deals with building around the interchange and the WTC complex.

Part 78 is focused on adding subways and infrastructure to the new areas of town and starting to build/zone the south side of town.

I am starting to run out of room.

Congrats on OSITM!!!!!  &apls This is a really interesting project. I wasn't able to watch all the videos, yet. But as far as I've come it's pretty instructive concerning this RHW-stuff. I'm still at war with the RHW  ;) I might give it a try once I've watched some more videos.  ;D

Thanks guys!

In part 79, I talk about the NAM poll for the first few mins, then try to break the grid and build sports stadiums.

Today as part of OSITM I have a plethora of images to share... Nearly 60 pics!

Nice shots! I see you're making more use of FAR than before, IIRC.

Cheers

Draggable FAR and curves are among my favorite features added to the NAM in the last release.

If you read some of the comments on Youtube, you'll notice some of them are actually angry at just how much I am breaking the grid. I find that pretty crazy coming from me... Someone who wants to utilize every tile in the city to the fullest. :P

Today I have a short video to share that showcases the main freeway in my city. It now has development along it's entire length.

Today as part of OSITM I have a very special video to show... I stretched my PC / SC4 to the limit to make it. (Recording 1920x1080 with cheetah speed automata is very taxing.)

Awesome video! Now if only the real world let you blow through a gridlocked intersection just because the light changed.  $%Grinno$%
