This is a request for translations for the RTMT T-RAM Stations, on behalf of the RTMT team. These stations are currently released in interim form, they will be integrated in RTMT V4 - see this Annoucement (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=5717.msg233779#msg233779). If required, the interim stations can be downloaded from here (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=1986).
In the attached zip file the various LTEXT files have already been assigned the proper offset Group ID for each language. After translating the LTEXT files into the language of your choice please post the file containing the translations to this thread. I will take care of the necessary merging of the various LTEXTs.
The translation into French has already been taken care of. I am not sure that there is a need for US English and UK English but if so please let me know. The translations still to be done are:
0x04 German done0x05 Italian done0x06 Spanish done0x07 Dutch done0x08 Danish done0x09 Swedish done- 0x0a Norwegian
0x0b Finnish done0x0f Japanese done0x10 Polish done0x11 Simplified Chinese done0x12 Traditional Chinese done- 0x23 Portugese
Please note that the texts starting with "Monthly Cost" contain variables enclosed by '#', do not modify the contents.
Thanks in advance to all translators for their help.
I'll do the dutch one once I have access to a computer (can't do it on my PS3)
EDIT: here it is
I will take care of the Swedish and Finnish again. :)
However, as I'm not at home this weekend, it will have to wait till the middle of the coming week. ;)
I'll have a look at the German version tomorrow or so. :)

I will take care of the Spanish version in these days...
I'm a bit tied up right now, but I'll look at the Portuguese and Italian during the weekend. Thx T. ;)
Japanese version is done.
Spanish it's done...
Douzerouge..I made the changes, look out if it's allright...
Excellent, ussagus, thanks a lot!
Since I just had with ussagus some exchanges via PMs about the Spanish translations, let me place here a reminder about the difference between 'tram in road' and 'tram on road':
- 'tram in road' was modelled after 'tram in avenue' and has similar characteristics: the tram tracks are in the middle of the roadway, and the distinct texture under the tracks indicates that the trams run on reservation; other traffic (cars, trucks, buses) runs on the traffic lanes on each side of the central reservation;
- 'tram on road' features no reservation, the tracks are placed directly on the road texture and trams run with other vehicles.
English very conveniently allows these very 'tight' expressions like 'in road' and 'on road'. It is much less simple in some other languages. Therefore, I suggest that the translation of 'tram in road' should if possible try to imply the notion of a central reservation - even if this means having to use a longer description; on the other hand 'tram on road' can mostly be translated literally.
To illustrate: the French translation of 'tram in road' was defined as 'tram en milieu de route', i.e. 'tram in the middle of the road' - the idea of the reservation being implicit to the location of the tracks in the middle of, but not on, the road. This is of course not perfect, but close enough.
Enclosed are the Swedish and Finnish versions. ;)
I hope
vester and
ExiLe could get some help from the Swedish version when translating into Danish and Norwegian... ::)

In Swedish I called them
'spårvagn mitt i väg' (tram in the middle of road) and
'spårvagn ovanpå väg' (tram on top of road) in the Item Names.
In the Item Descriptions (those longer texts where the monthly costs and passenger capacities also are) I rewrote it somewhat to give some more explanation:
'väg med spårvagn mellan körfälten' (road with tram between the lanes) and
'väg med spårvagn ovanpå körfälten' (road with tram on top of the lanes).
And similarily in Finnish... I hope this might give some help to other translators as well...
Start looking at the translation. Hope it's not to late.
Try to finish the tomorrow.
Will be using RJ's swedish translation.
No no it is not too late! Thanks in advance!
Actually I was waiting for the vacation period to be over and I intended to send a reminder this week, for the translations that are still missing. So this is a first reminder and there may be a second one later.
Whoops, I completely forgot about this. Unfortunately, I'm pretty busy at the moment, but I'll try to find some spare time soon.
Here is the Danish translation. Sorry the long wait.
The Chinese translations are here.
The Simplified Chinese one[linkie]
And the Traditional Chinese one[linkie]
PS:I can't find where the place to add a attachment is. ()what()
Edit: I can add the attachments now.
Bobbi, thank you!
You should be able to add attachments now!
Thanks a lot to all who supplied translations until now. I am starting to integrate the various files into a single master file. There is still time to supply the few missing translations. A new request for more translations in the RTMT area should follow shortly.
Oh well, here's the German translation finally. Sorry for the long wait. &ops
Super, Andreas, thank you! (I hope I did not rush you... ;))
Polish translation on board!
Sorry for the delay, I got too many work to do IRL lately. I had problems with polish letters using Reader, too. I finally took the DatGen and now everything works fine, I hope. Last but not least - I really wish the query window was much wider... ;).
I everyone! I want to help you for italian translations, but i don't understand what i have to do with the first file.
You need ilive's Reader (http://sc4devotion.com/csxlex/lex_filedesc.php?lotGET=656) to open RTMT_Lots_T-RAM_05_Italian.dat and translate the English LTEXT files into Italian. ;)
Once translated, attached the file to a post here.
Here the italian version of RTMT T-RAM Stations
;)
Thanks a lot Dany10000! At this point only the Norwegian and Portugese translations are still missing. Hopefully they can still get done soon.
