Title: Recreate New York
Post by: M4346 on March 04, 2007, 07:10:39 AM
I stumbled upon site -> click! (http://skyscraper.org/timeformations/transparent.html), and thought it would be useful for someone that intends on, or is busy, recreating New York City (more specifically Manhattan Island).

It features layers that are added to a "transparent New York" tracking settlement, development and zoning. ;D

I hope you can find some use for it!  ()stsfd()

This is amazing, M! Where did you find it? I think I know what I'll be playing around with when I get home from class this afternoon! Great find, my friend!

Wow, i cant beleive that a landfill was situated on the coast!

It wasn't a landfill like where all the trash is collected, as that would have screwed up the ecosystem there (even though it's screwed up now :P), they used excess dirt/soil (most likely from building the subway system) to add in new land around the island.
