I have managed to contact the creator of the "Rathaus", ( http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=835.100 ) Meister-z by email. I have asked Alex ( meister-z ) if his creations are available elsewhere. Apparently they aren't and also Alex himself have lost his work after a hard disk crash. I am however very happy that I can announce that Alex has given permission to upload his creations to the exchange here on sc4devotion ... of course with credit due there where it belongs.
We do have one problem though ... the missing files. I do have the Rathaus myself and Alex has told me he has found the Victoria Building again. But thats about it at the moment.
After some web searching I found a number of pictures that portray Alex'work. I would therefor request all members here who recognize one of the buildings and if you have it in your collection to contact me here by pm. We then can collect all the files, check them for errors and add them to the BSC Custody collection.

ajax_amsterdam ... as I have written in my PM I do not have permission to send meister-z's work by email and I also believe that is not the way it is supposed to be. Also, when you read my first post you will notice that I will try to collect all the files, check them for faults and then upload them ( permitted that the board admin allows me of course ). This means that you and others will have to have some more patience. You know that: geduld is een schone zaak ... or patience is a virtue. Be assured though that we are working on it.
Hey guys. Iam glad to see that my buildings gets big interest in the community. And i see that some buildings where found.
My wish is that some buildings gets growable and have a good price and right influence.
So have no fear to fix it if there are some misstakes.
After my Diploma i think i will work again for sim city. I see the community is still alive.

Wow ... this is a great suprise! I am glad you took the plunge and registered as a member meister-z. As we discussed in private your buildings are still in use and appreciated by the community. The files will be checked and corrected where needed, and it is possible to make them growables or functional ploppable as well. I will keep in touch with you about that.

Unfortuatly I can't help you much with re-collecting your wonderful buildings, as I only have the Rathaus, the Victoria Building as well as the Stuttgarter Fernsehturm which are already collected.
"Project Z" and "Bürohaus" where only Testobject to learn the program. I found them not so beautiful. My favorites are found and that makes me happy ;)

I think the Victoria Building was once loaded up because so many people cried out for it at ST and most people didn't know inSims so someone took the initiative, unfortuatly no credit given to Meister-Z.
The Metlife Building you found though isn't the one torre-mayor created once ago. His was actually just plain dark gey and overscaled an lacked most details (though, for his first BAT once upon a time it was great).
Praiodan is right. The current version on the STEX is a pirated version without the consent of Alex.

Torre Mayor was one of the best german Bat'ers at my worktime.
I dont know about the pirate Version of the Viktoria. That is very sad but i think its too late to make trouble of this.

I know that you didn't receive any reply from Torre-mayor to your PM , and I don't think anybody can join him since he has left the community , years ago ... I've got this BAT too , and receive myself PMs requesting me to send his exceptional BATs . Waiting for the result of your initiative , so far I didn't accept to share clandestinely ...
We have to find a legal way to solve this . Isn't it possible that an admin ( to be unbiased ) of SC4Devotion collect these files and upload them to the LEX with Torre-mayor as only creator name ? ()what()

I think that it can be useful too to know for which reason these BATs have disappeared from inSims.de since the forum software of this site has changed ... need someone speaking perfect german , like you do ... ;D
Actually, I don't really know why inSims.de has disappeared. It was part of the "inGame.de" network, which operates several gaming sites, and maybe it was started as some "competitor" to SimsZone.de back when SC4 was released. I guess some of the staff members lost interest or had RL issues, they had to shut down the site, but kept the forum, since there are still some loyal user over there.
I've wrote torre-mayor twice now (via email) but still got now answer and I now think it's kinda hopeless to contact him.
I've also had quite the same idea Andreas had some time ago but I was unsure if it would be legal though (maybe gotta ask David?!). If this would be possibile though, I'm sure I could also find some older stuff of his on my HD.
P.S.: As inSims.de has always been pretty small I think the main page with the download base access was closed down because of too few visitors maybe. Or they deleted the files from the servers. Could have many reasons I guess.

@Andreas: Right, the most popular members left because of those personal issues you talked about. AmyLeeFreak appeared again some months ago, the others seem to be inactive forever. Here's one quote from torre, I think it was his last post on insims.de:

I don't know if the Las Vegas hotel "The Mirage" is missing. It was made by Torre-mayor. I found a lost (?) link while trying to find the Opéra Bastille.

I hope you'll upload the Opera soon! I've been looking for it everywhere. Besides, Torre-mayor files are partially online so i don't think he'll mind if you just provide "working links".
I am having problems with how to deal with the torremayor works. The lots as provided by torremayor are pure landmarks and there are no inherent problems with them so far as I can see so there is nothing to "correct". I shall upload them as is from the original zip files so anyone who wishes can use the models from there to make their own lots. I am prepared to provide base lots from the X Tool for ploppables with jobs and growables for anyone who wishes. It seems that there is no way to contact torremayor so they will be uploaded by the BSC Custodian until he can be contacted.
If anyone has any comments on this before they are uploaded please make them here. I will leave it until the weekend to upload which gives you all plenty of time to comment.

I made a decision after receiving requests for basic lots. I am making a set of basic lots for most of the models for CO$$, CO$$$, CS$$ and CS$$$ and will upload them later today. I will also include a ploppable with CS$$ jobs for The Mirage and the Opera Bastille. As most of the buildings fall into the "megalot" category - i.e. they are over 6x6 - I have allowed one extra tile in each direction and the growth stages reflect that. If you want to change the lot sizes you will have to do that in Reader as LE will not allow a growable larger than 6x6 - see my tutorial on Making a Megalot if you have problems. If you change the lot size then the growth stage may need to change as well so let me know if you need any changes making.
If you want ploppables making into Rewards you will need to send me the finished lot with what you want as conditions for it to be rewarded. I can then do the script and other modding and send the lot back to you.

Lots uploaded for whoever wants to finish them. They are all modded and have the building desc embedded into the lot file so it is important you keep them in the root of plugins and Save when you have finished. If you don't you will lose the building desc, the new file will look for it and you will end up with a bown box. $%Grinno$%

I just read the comments on the LEX about dependancies issues for the Lot of The Mirage . This isn't the original Lot but mine , one of my first work with LE years ago . Chrisim from the SFBT was working on a complete revamp of the good old underpasses by Marrast over the last weeks, which have been extended far beyond the original set. Based on the original lots and CJMarshall's paths, Chrisim updated all lots with new and more accurate paths, updated lot stats and consistent menu icons/descriptions.
This set contains a total of 13 different lots, including two all-new underpass models for streets and one-way roads, which have been crafted by hand, using the Reader and a graphics program for creating new textures. Nearly all remaining issues have been fixed as best as possible. Also included is an MML mod for the set, and Euro textures for the road underpass.
The lots come both in English and German, and we also created an extensive readme file for the set that includes an illustrated tutorial on how to use the lots. The following lots are included in the set:
