Great Day For Freedom? Now that's definatly some Anthem worth singing  :P

There's a King Frederick around, huh? Any chance he's got roots to the Hohenzollern? If so, he'd be a relative of Frederick-Arnold, ruler of the Zollernmark kingdom (huh, I really have to get an update on this, I think I haven't posted at all on this for like two years now  ??? )

Be looking forward to seeing more  :)

Guess what?! It's time for some replies!

Replies:

caspervg - How did you dare to comment on my flag!? Lol. Anyways, thanks for the kind comments ;)

Simpson - Thank you very much!

praiodan - Thanks! About your question: no, he isn't! (At least officially  ;D)

thundercrack - Thanks!

art128 - Again, you wasn't supposed to comment on that flag!  ;D Oh, and you found out the roots of the MD name. Congratulations - you found out something that is obvious! :P

sciurus54 - Thanks

So, thanks everyone one's again! That's why I love ya all! (Don't take it's too seriously ;))

Ok, anyways, I have something
Really important to say!!

The update is not going to be that weekend (at least I don't think so ;)), 'cause my comp has crashed and my plugin folder has been destroyed ;p. So, please be patient, 'cause I think that it's going to be better than I've ever planned. And you know why? Because I'm going to download CAM and all of CAMpatible buildings!

But remember: The MD is not dead! (yet :D) Just please wait one-two days longer, OK?

Have a nice Dave's Day/Not-Dave's Day/Night/Whatever  :P

Title: The Consitiutonal Monarchy Of Blue Floyd - First Update
Post by: Sheep49 on September 26, 2008, 11:51:49 AM
UPDATE TIME!

Today I'm going to show you the only part of the country that I've built - Mason's Court. It is named after Pink Floyd's drummer, but in my country, Nicholas Mason was the first person who decided to life in the area. He's the national hero, and once a year, on the 3rd of March, the holiday is being celebrated.

The buildings in the update are plopped, but I hope you will like it! ;)

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg252.imageshack.us%2Fimg252%2F7127%2Fmasonscourt10feb0012224nf7.png&hash=da47dc94d1df6d3a0fb065855ac959b60c7cbedc)
This photo shows the Red Towers Estate, which was 67th on the list  'Of the Best Estates in Contemporary Europe', hold in 1965. Today, most of the towers has been demolished, but some still stand proudly. (The buildings of the estate are the red, high towers :P) Since the estate was big, the towers will be visible on almost every photo.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg252.imageshack.us%2Fimg252%2F1350%2Fmasonscourt21feb0012224ue5.png&hash=1771a0cd848e1f5df6a720a5b5faed70870d17c4)
Don't have anything to say about that photo. More on the red numbers later.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg252.imageshack.us%2Fimg252%2F2%2Fmasonscourt21feb0012224qz7.png&hash=c6bc601ac873c51258cae191570febcd6208c598)
This may seem as just another photo by me showing another useless and disgusting area of my city, but in fact it's one of the most monumental areas of the town. Like Piccadilly Circus in London, or the Times Sq in New York, the building with that big neon is the biggest landmark in the area. Now you can see how pathetic is that city. ;)

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg522.imageshack.us%2Fimg522%2F7%2Fmasonscourt21feb0012224xh1.png&hash=c150b1a361ca3e9b1e41b13305e764284da32df4)
The Transportation Square is one of many green/white areas in the area.  It has taken its name from the Blue Floyd Rapid Transport HQ located in the building with the writing Coca-Cola on it. You will have the oppurtunity for being the president on this company, but the way will be reveiled in the next updates.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg522.imageshack.us%2Fimg522%2F9158%2Fmasonscourt21feb0012224sz0.png&hash=d7f22f7f3ef9f7d84f3863bd334cd28856ac081e)
The overview of the area. Have you seen such a sad, bad and pathetic photo? If so, you have to be the most unlucky person in the whole world. ;)

And now for the...
Buy the house in Blue Floyd!
The rules are simple. You buy houses for the posts. Do you remember the numbers on the 2nd picture? This are the propeties avaible to buy.

1 - A flat in the Freddie Mercury Tower, a part of Red Towers Estate. (5 posts) Bought by Simpson
2 - The apartment in the 'House of Book', where the biggest bookshop in the city is located. (8 posts)
3 - The flat in 35 Sea Ave, another landmark in the city. (13 posts)

How many posts 'do you have':
caspervg: 1
Simpson: 3
praiodan: 1
thundercrack: 1
Arthur: 2
scirius: 1
Fatsuhono: 1

Have fun, and hope you liked the update. Constructive criticism is welcomed as always. Don't hestitate to give me some tips or even request something. ;D

And don't worry: We will have some more updates about Mason's Court. ;)
Piotr

Nice! A suggestion would be to turn of the grid (press "g") when taking pictures, and perhaps try not to show to much Zoom-6 pictures (as they are a little tiled). The city itself looks splendid however. Casper von Treebaum is probably happy with how the monarchy is developing.

Not an update, (you can boo at me ;)), but a little information for ya :)

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg147.imageshack.us%2Fimg147%2F2092%2Fcompetitionrq3.jpg&hash=319b40d8d5167fb3c87c8701d562cf8b3c837f43)
This picture was recently in the picture competition, and even won one round. In fact, I unabled Pat to be in the picture HoF. (Sorry Pat ;))

Why am I tellin' you this? Because it's from the original Churchill Place, which I build last year. I thought it would be nice to have it as the thing you can compare my newer works to ;)

And the update is coming... I can feel it... :P

Post by: Sheep49 on October 12, 2008, 12:24:24 AM
OK, it's time for some Update :P

Since in the few hours/days/weeks/months/years we will reach Best Sellers, I'm going to make that one a special update. You'll see why ;)

Now, sit comfortably and read the newest update!

Hi, my name is Zack Woodmaster and I live in Churchill Place.I would like to take you over for a trip around my beautiful city :)

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg411.imageshack.us%2Fimg411%2F8067%2Fupdate1sd3.jpg&hash=316822af470662974201312a7e23c119ffb02693)
We start our journey on the fields in Troyfield. It's one of the smallest boroughs in Churchill Place, but it's one of my favourites. Going down K. Bieniu Street we finally get to the central part of town.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg411.imageshack.us%2Fimg411%2F4260%2Fupdate2bn2.jpg&hash=a5b24f7c7f6162dfcd1554e5d53fb304c80cf33f)
We get into the Acton, witch is the main part of the city. In the right corner of the picture you can see the Church of Saint Arthur, who is also the patron of Churcill Place. The road in the middle is Thunder Crack Road, and is one of the main streets in town.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg123.imageshack.us%2Fimg123%2F8286%2Fupdate3me3.jpg&hash=7faa0a2db1f6615b136ecf52e20bb8e77a8e4a8e)
Further we go Thunder Crack Rd, we reach Bat Estate, which was the main industrial part of the city, before Prime Minister Von Treebaum requested rebuilding this into the resindental part of town.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg123.imageshack.us%2Fimg123%2F9407%2Fupdate4ff3.jpg&hash=e7193f84df6341d7d98458d53d6dc459ecc31464)
We go into the central Bat Estate. Two streets here are named Simpson St and Praiodan St, who were, amongst Mason, the discovers of the area. And that big block of flats is called Paratol's Tower, and is one of the main landmarks in the area.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg123.imageshack.us%2Fimg123%2F1774%2Fupdate5av7.jpg&hash=6e5fc81e9b30d848efdd005c20497825cdc60fd1)
We finally drive out of the estate to go to the new industrial part of town. Three towers shown on the photo are called Three Stooges, but citizens are calling them Fatsuhono, Sciurus and Nerdlydood. We go to the north by the Mrtnrln Rd, to drive straight into...

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg183.imageshack.us%2Fimg183%2F8983%2Fupdate7tx3.jpg&hash=73dc7388fe42c261a051b1708729724eff102b08)
The roundabout of the Monkey Island and Blue Floyd friendship, which is also one of the most important places in the town. Finally, we go to the east by Metarvo Street.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg183.imageshack.us%2Fimg183%2F9392%2Fupdate6fy1.jpg&hash=d8639f20fdebc53a50e66a28e85757ccac775bd7)
We drive into the new workers estate called South Park, where Metarvo road is now called War Constructions Rd. Now we finally see the St Dustin Station, which is the only main line station in the town.

Hope you liked it!
Piotr

BTW, sorry Earthquake I don't have the present for you yet, but next update there will be something BIG for you! ;)

Some news!
1. The new concert/exhibition hall is being built in Blue Floyd ;)
2. I have Photoshop now, so get ready for some more photoshopping :P
3. The newest update is going to be this weekend :)

Question of the day!
Please put one of these answers in your replies! (It's up now :P)

Would you like me to make a British/English town tutorial?
a) Sure, why not? It can be really useful sometimes!
b) No way! Who needs something like that?!
c) What is a 'tutorial'?
d) I don't care as long as there are some boring information! (For Casper :P)

Cya!

I'll go for answer a: Sure, why not? It can be really useful sometimes!

It's 9-9 over at the picture competition. So there is a 50% chance that your pic wins!  ;)

I can't wait for the next update!

Best,
Maarten

Great mosaic picture, but I have a slight critic: Could you use a rail texture mod? The Maxis ones are looking kinda edgy.

Wow, I've missed a lot here! I hope you can forgive me for not posting in so long.

First, congratulations on reaching the Best Sellers forum! You've definitely earned it, what with the quality of your work. And thanks for that present back on page 5!
Second, I look forward to this upcoming concert. I'd tell you what album cover that picture is from, but Arthur beat me to it :-(
Finally, how did you get those rail gantries from your latest mosaic? Do you plop them, or are they part of a mod?

Looking forward to more, as always!

Great teaser, Piotr!

Oh, and the album cover--Dark Side of the Moon (1973) by Pink Floyd. Atom Heart Mother would've been a good one, too!

Anyway, I'll be looking forward to seeing what you've got for us next!

Gosh, I'm having a bad feeling that this MD is slowly decasing... I'm sorry, I'll try to re-animate it, but I'm not sure if I can. Any suggestions on what can I build, make, or whatether, please write to me on MSN, or either write the PM to me. Second is preferable ;)

Happier theme: ANOTHER STUPID PIC IN THE COMPETITION!

hi sheep, you have a nice md here, i think if you add some more pics youll do well. for instance, where does this canal go? it looks great here (and in the competition) but i would like to see more of it. also, you have some good close ups of your city, how about zooming out a bit, like in your mosaic. this would give people a better sense of whats happening in your city. keep on working on it, it looks great so far.

Try an update.  I'll give you some hints, although I don't want to sound like I'm making requests.  I just hate to see an MD die.  You could showcase a few key intersections in the Highgate Waters area, for instance.  Show pictures of a neighborhood.  Since that's a power line ()stsfd(), you could show where that area gets its power from.  I'm just laying my 2 cents on the table.

This update has nothing to do with last teaser. It's just a random thing, I decided to show you.

You may want to ask yourself a question, why is there pause thing in the frame? Well, because it's the coat of arms of Islington. It doesn't meant that author is too lazy to edit it off in photoshop :P

See you later!

Good one, Piotr!  :D

Nice pictures... though I concur with Arthur, you should consider to turn of the grid... and maybe turn up the city's level of details - the pictures look a bit dead without any sims or cars on the streets  &mmm

This is a fine update indeed.  However, I do agree with Praiodan that you should turn the city detail and cars/sims to "High" before taking pics.  On the other hand, I believe that this is an MD with real potential.  I do look forward to the next update, Piotr.

Title: Blue Floyd - Awful technical problems
Post by: Sheep49 on November 03, 2008, 08:58:04 AM
I'm very angry. Very, very angry. My PC is broken. And I mean seriously: broken. My dog was running through the whole flat, but when he was in my room, he didn't stop, and he ran exactly at my comp. Now I can't turn it on, nor I can't play SC4. I don't know what to do next. I think I have to make some text/info updates now.

But the worst thing is that Blue Floyd, my lots, BATs and other things are gone. I wanted to copy those into the DVD, including all of the plugins I had, but bam. So I guess it's the real end of Blue Floyd as we all know it. Next, and the definite Blue Floyd, will be much more eye candy orintated. BTW, I'm writing from my parents PC, and they don't have MSN, so I'll be absent on there for some days/weeks.

And no, my comp is plugged into electric power. But the graphic card is in pieces. It must have gone through a lot of struggle with other parts before landing at the bottom of PC.

For interested: My dog is fine ;)

So I'm sorry everyone. Next updates, in the couple of days, will be, as I said, very plug-in orientated. I'll try to keep you entertained for this time. And don't forget to vote in the MD and HoF pics competition. ;)

See you next time, guys and not-guys.
Piotr

Oh, man, that's a major bummer. :'( :'(  I hope you are able to get yourself a high-powered new PC, Piotr.  If that ever happened to me, I would probably try to place some sort of protective partition around the next PC that I got.  Of course, that might block access to the power button or the DVD drive, but that's one possible preventative measure.

EDIT: Maybe your HD is still good.  It might be possible to recover it and have a new PC built.  Just another thought.

Post by: Sheep49 on November 04, 2008, 12:36:47 AM
Hey guys, I fixed my PC :D But I'm tired of my old building style. I want to try something new: Eyecandiness and custom lots all the way ;)

Replies:

southpark - Yes it is beautiful* :D LOL, anyway, thank you!
bat - Thank you so much!
jmdude1 - Thank you :)
sciurus54 - Thank you, too! :)
kbieniu7 - Thanks! I will turn off the grid next time. But I won't stop photoshopping :D It's one of the more enjoyable parts of making the update or teaser ;)
metarvo - Thank you! Yes, my HD is ok, but I want to try something new ;)
art128 - Yeah, I was sad too ()sad() Thanks!
Geronimo - Heh, thank you my friend! ;D
kbieniu7 - I'll try my best :D Thanks!

NOTE: *This is clearly for satirical purpouses: pause frame is looking awful.

Boyfriend: "So, baby, where do you live? I can take you there"
Girlfriend: "I would love that, sweetheart, I live in that condominium with the cottonwood, elm and valley oak in front of it, along with some publicity and some cars parked, near the intersection"
Boyfried: "Okay... Which one?"

Now serious, the lot(s) look pretty good to me, good work on them. Can't wait (well, I can wait, but I'm anxious to see it) for more.

Post by: Sheep49 on November 07, 2008, 11:23:52 AM
Thanks for all your nice and kind comments! ;)

art128 - Thanks! You are almost as evil as me for ruining my plan, actually! :D
papab2000 - Thank you! :)
kbieniu7 - OK, but can you develop your reply? Constructive criticism is more than welcome. :D And yeah, I'm using left-side traffic, mostly because I have installed SC4 in English (as well as 3/4 of all of the applications on my PC ;))
caspervg - Good one! And thanks for your nice reply :)
metarvo - Finally! Yes, it is a new banner ;D Hope you like it $%Grinno$%
bat - Thanks!
Simpson - Thank you! ;)

Now, let's move on: the last map was a LIE! Blue Floyd is actually an island! Haha! I've fooled you all again $%Grinno$% And Churchill Place is well... not good. (Honestly, I deleted the whole old region, so Blue Floyd will be absolutely different - Don't worry, this is the last turn in our storyline for the next... 6 weeks?) Ok, but here you have a REAL map of Blue Floyd, with districts, or boroughs putted on there:

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg146.imageshack.us%2Fimg146%2F183%2Fmapej2.png&hash=89fcb2a009791b210e5ddaa182907831cf84362d)

Estiminate population of the final region: 514 588 (Don't ask me how have I calculated that ::) I'm still surprised I could do it.)

The next update title: TERRAFORMING IS NOT FUN... ()sad()

I forgot to say: every update will have a photoshopped logo ;)

See you later!
Piotr

[Dlh]You will get a surprise if you can tell from which city all of those districts names come from[/Dlh]

It's update time! Unfortunately my photoshopping skills are so bad I can't do any logo $%Grinno$%

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg83.imageshack.us%2Fimg83%2F3946%2Fbannerupdatecl9.jpg&hash=db45df17a4db1d56763b4afc6aecdc318e2e6b19)

Let's start with another diagram... ;)
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg83.imageshack.us%2Fimg83%2F2259%2Ftilesbmpgl9.png&hash=937a8ce33d848eb958a2a1459e37b417866a0b87)
This one shows how big is actually Blue Floyd. NOTE: Every tile is large size.

Let's take for example tile 8...
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg83.imageshack.us%2Fimg83%2F9921%2Fnewcity5jan001226252229is1.png&hash=60bd76445946793730fe4095c2e7c03628e9e470)

Then I'm making the tiles fit to each other...
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg83.imageshack.us%2Fimg83%2F8426%2Fnewcity17jan00122625226io6.png&hash=b52fdf4a00bd2cb734e10ae09ad479d33c16ae00)

And then I make some water :P
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg83.imageshack.us%2Fimg83%2F6388%2F827feb001226252438np0.png&hash=bf7878bedc4f6027f4a5b7f8ee01ca59eb3de815)

Finally, I add something to make the shore more interesting. ;D
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg83.imageshack.us%2Fimg83%2F9245%2F831mar001226252582vd8.png&hash=441aea56fcd9ff50ef9f394e0fcbd57854caaffd)

I save my proggress and go out to the region view. ;)
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg58.imageshack.us%2Fimg58%2F4296%2Fbluefloydshire122625263lg3.png&hash=8a2cb5c397066f0450c090c61d15ae17b02fadbf)

The motorway (highway for those in the States) looks good, especially with SA's textures.  I hope those trees under the power line don't grow too tall, though, or there could be a fire hazard.

Hi Piotr,

It's taken me some time to reach Blue Floyd but I am glad I've now found it.  It seems that all of your districts are named after stations on the London Underground - very interesting.  It's certainly good to see your Upminster as that is not toooooo far from where I live.

paroch - Glad you dropped in! Believe me, you won't be disappointed. And yeah, Blue Floydshire's boroughs are named after different places in Greater London :D You live in Upminster? Cool! When I was living in London (Kew in Richmond upon Thames) I wanted to go there, as it is the end of District line. Of course, I've never done so ::) This year, when visiting London, I won't let that occassion go by ;D Thanks

So, unfortunately, I'm not starting Blue Floydshire from the beginning $%Grinno$% Nothing happened yet, so I think everything's gonna be alright :D

Oh, and the current Blue Floydshire sister cities list is as following:
- Highsbury Grove (Caspervg)
- Maroanestra (Art128)
- Nyhaven (woodb3kmaster)
- Lowangen (praiodan)

Only one space more left! Nominate your towns now! :D

See you later! ;)

Title: Blue Floydshire - The First Motorway Interchange
Post by: Sheep49 on November 14, 2008, 12:31:47 PM
Today's shot is kinda big, so I will post the thumbnail here. Click on it to see the pic in the original resolution ;)

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg171.imageshack.us%2Fimg171%2F6020%2Frhwinterchange1kopiaih8.th.jpg&hash=8d39b1fe22b59f3583fd2e3eef3662f7f5702351) (http://img171.imageshack.us/my.php?image=rhwinterchange1kopiaih8.jpg)

The grid is supposed to be turned on this time. This is the interchange as it is now. But the council want to rebuild it, since they don't like it. Thus, the next update will be more 'Tarkus' style', and it's going to show the rebuilding of it. I know you wanna see it! :D

Earth quake: Lancaster is the 5th and final Blue Floydshire's sister city ;)

See you next time!

Geesh, nearly missed the pic since its so small in your post!

I'd recommend you switch to regular tunnels or use an overpass though, so traffic doesn't have to convert to car-subway-car (inefficient, and deters rich sims since they don't like using subway) and it will be UDI compatible!

Other than that, Nice job Piotr!

Best,

Now, let's move on to some news...

1. Today we've reached 500 views. That's quite a big amount ;D

2. Blue Floyd is in the 2nd round of Mayors' Diary Awards (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=6152.msg199419#msg199419). I'm inviting you to vote for the MDs that deserve the award in each category ;)

3. I'm the main (and only...) BATter (::)) of the Modular Campground Pack (http://sc4devotion.com/forums/index.php?topic=6301.0). You can follow the development in the thread. ;)

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg83.imageshack.us%2Fimg83%2F3946%2Fbannerupdatecl9.jpg&hash=db45df17a4db1d56763b4afc6aecdc318e2e6b19)

We all know that road constructing companies are sometimes irritating. In Blue Floydshire, it's no different. Today, we're going to take a look at the rebuilding of the ITC motorway interchange. It all began with...
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg171.imageshack.us%2Fimg171%2F6020%2Frhwinterchange1kopiaih8.th.jpg&hash=8d39b1fe22b59f3583fd2e3eef3662f7f5702351) (http://img171.imageshack.us/my.php?image=rhwinterchange1kopiaih8.jpg)
That small, innocent looking interchange. It was soon to become one of the longest realised transport investitions. The first company that has taken the responsibility of rebuilding it was called Geronimo Transportations Co.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg395.imageshack.us%2Fimg395%2F3029%2Fstreetqh3.jpg&hash=af0830b637288fe60bd402b8a8cca96d091d7b6f)
This is what they've done in 3 years time. As soon as the council realised it by protests from drivers, they decided to look for another company that could rebuild it.

Soon the next company took over the project. Kbieniu's Traffic Builders were very optimistic, and even the council looked forward into the finished interchanged. But what was the result, was the thing that no one has ever imagined in the whole shire...

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg395.imageshack.us%2Fimg395%2F33%2Finterchangelolastivnb4.jpg&hash=4e5302c5fcef3c845ce9b9fdba406f8b157d9d61)
The thing about was called, by The Times, 'The Most Pathetic Excuse For The Interchange In The Great Britain', even though it wasn't finished yet. Finally, the 3rd and the definite company has taken the project over - Metarvo Planning and Building Brothers. They have started innocently...

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg356.imageshack.us%2Fimg356%2F290%2Fdrawingat3.jpg&hash=05e0ba0da90f996aa35bc0c6749ecfbbc386f8dd)
With a little help from John T. Ravolta's Elecric Company, who had the near pylons, they remade the electric line to the north. After rebuilding a road, they finally got to the interchange itself.

(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fimg89.imageshack.us%2Fimg89%2F4994%2Fmorningmistkopiapn0.jpg&hash=518c2f5c72a7defbd9f218e4c10169d7ae4ac4da)
And here's the result: the new, fully functional interchange. The rebuilding took over 9 years, but still it is considered as the monument of innovative thinking in Blue Floyd.

And while we're talking about interchanges...

The following picture belongs to Gdynia.pl
(https://www.sc4devotion.com/forums/proxy.php?request=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.gdynia.pl%2Fg2%2Fgaleria%2F21.jpg&hash=4f54bfc149d0da536eb1263e995f2fafc5067ee6)

That's the main interchange in Gdynia. It's named after Mrs. F. Cegielska, who was the president of Gdynia, and who died of cancer in 1999. I think it's a really good planned interchange. BTW, you may have not seen it on the pic, but there are actually 4 viaducts: 2 for pedestrians, 1 for the traffic, and one for the railway.

So, see you later guys/and girls. ;)
Piotr

Thanks for the present, Piotr. ;)  Imagine, all that trouble to build an interchange.  Somehow, it convinced me that I was reading an entirely different MD, though.  This update somehow has a hint of a flavor that I can describe as "Tarkusian."  :D  Congratulations on 5,000 views and on the nomination in the MD Awards, Piotr!  As for the Modular Campground Pack, I'll be sure to check that out.

This is a fine mosaic, Piotr!  The cloud effect adds so much detail.  Those asphalt SAM streets look very good, and you have done well to get those diagonal houses to line up on the diagonals.

I can see rain-slick asphalt driving through those curves, Piotr.  Dark woods on either side, with the little village just a blur of lights out the window as you drive by in the mist.

Always nice work here!

A nice start to your port, Piotr! The one thing I don't like is the Maxis textures underneath the diagonal stretches of rail. Perhaps you should look into this mod (http://simpeg.com/forum/index.php?action=tpmod;dl=item183) by Pegasus. You'll have to be registered at SimPeg to be able to download. It gives your railroads a much more realistic look.

Good to see you've returned!
