Title: How to correct a filename to show the correct Growth Stage
Post by: BarbyW on February 24, 2010, 04:23:37 AM
For growable lots Maxis uses the convention type/wealth/growth stage and SC4PIM makes lots using this convention. Occasionally you may need to change the growth stage - if you have recomputed the LODs or changed the size of the lot after making the original one. It is very simple to change the filename to match a new growth stage, however, and should always be done before finishing a lot. You do this in the lot exemplar found in the Lots section of SC4PIM.

If you look at the following you can see that the filename begins CS$$2 but the growth stage is 3.

Start by double clicking on the filename and a box will pop up. In the box click on the number in the filename - in this case 2 - and change it to match the growth stage - in this case 3.

Once you have done that click OK and the box will close to show you that the filename and growth stage now match.

Don't forget to click Save at the bottom of the screen when you have finished.

Yes it does. Once you have completed the steps shown above the external filename will show the correct stage.
