Description

WMP Causeways v2.0 (props by Murimk, bixel; lotting by DocRorlach)

Lot Details and Information can be found in the readme. Read it.

UPDATE: V2.01 - 15.06.2020

  • The extra seawall lot generated a silly visual bug uppon saving due to the used base textures. The base textures have been removed, the lot, now, totally transparent, which solved the issue

  • The old Causeway Terraforming Tutorial has been restored, thanks to Vortext and now it's attached in a bit of updated format. Soon a HTML based separete upload will follow it on the exchanges.

  • the z_WMP Causeway RVTStreet.dat has also been restored, thanks to Rivit for his generous help with it.

Dependencies:

To ensure the proper functionality, make sure the files mentioned below are installed in the plugins folder.

WMP Dependencies:

External Dependencies:

Porkie Props Vol1 - European Street Accessories

Installation: Unzip the whole bundle, or COPY the "WMP" folder from the *.zip into your plugin folder. You don't need to keep the "_Documents" folder.

If you use rivit's Urban Tar-sealed Street Mod for your streets, you will need the z_WMP Causeway RVTStreet.dat add-on. You can find this file in the "_Documents" folder and you need to copy it into the Plugins\WMP\Textures folder, to LOAD AFTER the WMP Mega Textures v1.02.dat.

To uninstall, bulldoze any instance of this lot in your city, then remove the file(s) from your Plugins.

For further details, please read the provided readme AND IF you still have questions, ask @Tyberius06.

Important: Please note: the game inhibits transit-enabled lots to sit next to each other. What you need to do is to leave at least a one-tile gap between two TE lots - this only applies to street and road lots - then connect these with either road or street and use the seawall piece on either water side to create uniform look.

Credits:

Original Creditings: Thanks to Murimk for the seawalls, culverts, and his patience; Porkissimo for his French props; bixel for the fences; d_j_p & rivit for testing patiently; and of course everyone around the Pegasus site.

Additional Credits:

  • DocRorlach and the WMP team and his associates for creating the models, props and the original lots.

  • David (djp) for keeping the original site alive so many years, and letting us rehosting the files on the exchanges

  • Tyberius06 (STEX Custodian) and xxdita for the restoration/rehosting of these contents.

  • Special gratitudes go to Vortext for restoring the WMP_Causeway_Tutorial and to Rivit for restoring the z_WMP Causeway RVTStreet.dat providing support for his TSR streets on some of the lots.

Support:

These WMP/DocRorlach creations are now legacy contents and therefore their support is very limited, however support from the wider community can be requested here on SC4 Devotion or in the STEX Custodian General Support Topic. Best include a screen-shot illustrating the problem.

(These very same lots can be/will be found on the STEX too, look for the WMP contents.)
