News:

The SC4 Devotion Forums are no longer active, but remain online in an archived, read-only "museum" state.  It is not possible for regular members to post or use the private messaging system, and no technical support will be provided for any issues pertaining to the forums in their current state.  Attachments (those that still work) are accessible without login.

The LEX has been replaced with SC4Evermore (SC4E), and SC4E maintains an active Discord server.  For traditional forums, we recommend Simtropolis.

Many people on this forum will probably remember the "Super Demand Ordinances" Mod. I don't know if it was just on my end, but I had a number of problems with that mod, so I decided to make my own.

What I did was take the main "SimCity_1.dat" and find the exemplars controlling demand, edit those, and export that to a separate .dat, all with "SC4Tool" - I had not found iLive reader at that time. Ergo, I have a set of .dat files that can either maximize - set to 6000, or suppress - set to 0, demand for R$, R$$, R$$$, Cs$, Cs$$, Cs$$$, Co$$, Co$$$, I-Ag, I-D, I-M, and I-HT individually. In addition, there are a few other files to mask other exemplars, such as "max total demand" allowed. It's a bit complex to use - I did include a readme - but it works wonderfully. It stomps over demand caps, ignores occupancy availability and growth speed - though desirability is still important - and ensures maximal growth of a city, in your preferred direction. With this mod, I've seen cities - even with only R$$$, Cs$$$, Co$$$, and I-HT - exceed the population of my entire country, and Canada is currently home for 33.74 million people.

I completed this set over a year ago, but I haven't been able to figure out how to post "pure" mods (no building, no lot, no .sc4desc, just a .dat) on either the STEX or the LEX. Therefore, I posted it - and two other, lesser mods - here, on the SC4 branch of my multi-game mod site:
http://www.freewebs.com/sc4mods-radicalone/mods.htm

I have two questions:
1. How did I do?
2. Is there a way to get them onto the STEX, LEX, or both?

RadicalOne, I haven't got a clue on how to upload mods at the STEX, but if you want upload your mod on the LEX you should take a look at this:

I've posted there. Thank you.
