ATRUBIAN WATERS - Miles offshore, a boat went up in flames as the president Abijad Aljakar was on vacation. His boat was out for a fishing trip when, supposedly, an electrical fire started. It took hours for rescue teams to to even reach the boat, as the chain of islands were desolate and hundreds of miles offshore. The team pulled 15 bodies from the boat. Sixteen were present at the time of the fire. None of the bodies were identified as Abijad Aljakar. As in the Atrubian presidency, "If the president is missing, formally hands over the presidency, or deceased, the new president is the vice president." The president is already missing/deceased so the presidency is temporarily/permantly handed over to Kandhan Janhar.

Pictures of the accident will not yet be released. The terrain is unmarked but densly forested. Its is unlikely that, if alive, the president will not go far into the forested area. The islands are known as "Yehn Darfuk," which no one quite understands. But, other than a small town, the presidential vacation home is the only thing on the islands. There is a navy vessel at the islands but it was away this particular month for repairs after running aground. More details will be released once this story develops. At a press conference President Kandhan Janhar said breifly:

"Abijad is a stong man and can survive. He has been through much in his life. As your new president, I am doing much to find him. Navy has been dispatched to the area, and a Coast Guard Cutter is on its way. The Army has 100 men stationed across the island and 100 more are arriving for the search. We will find him. And he will be alive. We do not know if this is a terrorist attack on his personal craft, or a simple mishap, more likely the second than the first. As a result, the Boat Show has been postponed, to which he was going to open. I will now accept questions from the press."

Update 62 - Alunad Islands



Thankyou everyone! I've already answered the questions but my computer froze. I don't have enough time oday to answer them again. Hey everyone. On Wednesday, April 14th, 2010 this happend.

ATRUBIAN WATERS - After five days in the wilderness, the president was recovered alive after spening 5 days on a deserted island. He was dehydrated and was days from most likely dying out there. His "camp" was maeshift and further away from the search area than believed. He set up camp in a feild near the ocean and lit fires at night. In a press conference he said:

"I will make this short. I'm very greatful for our military to be so well trained in this dire emergency. They handled it very well and I am so grateful for all these cndolences and concerns. Also the vice president Kandhan Janhar has done a fine job as temporary, err, I mean, permanent president. Yes, I am resigning. I am becoming to old for this type of thing. Therefore, I am giving the presidency over to Kandhan and my vacation home as well. He will be inaugurated on Saturday. I would like to invite all of AIN to this event. (there will be no pics, but oh well). I'm now going to go home and be with my family. Conference dismissed." *Kandhan stunned*


Anyways, Kandhan is the new president. And I will not be showing Atrubia for the next 20 updates or so, so I can develop it.

And anyways, I am thinking of developing a mini storyline for this region. But first, I need to complete a little more of the region. Here is the main city, Hukmann Alunad.



Unlike Atrubia, these will be lushious, forested islands.

Hey everyone, I have all the Main characters in the storyline, but now I want characters from all of you. I'll need about 10-15. Some of the recommendeds are: gas station owner, medical doctor, army soldier/officer, navy soldier/officer, store owner, etc. Anything you all can think of!

Update 63 - Story Start

RickD: Thanks! Well, its not the same as mine, but on FSX search "Marathon Airport" (Florida) or "Key West Intl." (Florida). Those are similar.

1.5 hours later.

"Excuse me, could you give me that magazine?"

"Sure." - Said the man.

"Say, Have we met?" - I Said.

"No, I don't think we have. I'm Argo Sowinski."

"I'm Alex Puto."

"Well, nice to meet you."



"Excuse me ladies and gentlemen, this is your Pilot speaking, please turn off all electonic devices and be careful when opening the overhead compartments as objects may have shifted during the flight."





I had to go to a real-estate office to confirm to purchase of my house.

I got home later that day, but not for long as at 2PM I had to go to an Air Force construction site as my engineering job kicked off.

I had to drive about 20 miles out of the city.



"Hello Mr. Hukann." - I said.

"Hello Alex. Here is our situation, we are three weeks behind schedule. So I have hired you and another man, he is an architect to design the grounds with you, to finish up this Air Force Base." - Hukann said.

"May I ask, who is the other man?"

"I believe his name is Sowinski. He got here today on a flight."

I couldn't believe he was the man I had already met.

"Okay, so what happend to this project? Why is it three weeks behind schedule?"

"Well, the first guy on the job created these large aircraft runways in the ocean.



He got paid for two months, said it couldn't be done, and left us with this mess. He took half his companies vehicles with him. As you can see, we got problem. Do you want to hep us finish?" - Said Hukmann.

I said - "Of course I will. And I'm sorry about the last guy, I won't quit on this."

I had toured the construction site for about two hours.





I got home later that night, very tired, but excited about my job.
