Nothing is more persuasive than pink elephants. Can't resist that!

I modded the original maxis files with the reader and tweaked them so that they don't appear anymore. So basically trains appear with no cars. Then I got Swamper77's cars and made one DAT file per car, putting only one of them at a time in my plugins, so that only one type of car can appear. Not sure if this clarifies things for you.

Since a couple of folks requested this recently, I'll put the files I edited here in an attachment. I don't know whether this is proper modding in any way, but it works for me, so...   These block the maxis freight train cars and the caboose.

Not sure either but I believe the SFBT soundwalls are larger. If I'm not mistaken these walls can be found in one of the CSX mega prop packs (1 t/m 7) or they're the ones that come with one of Jestarr's downloads (Bubba Bait shop or something). In any case, they're totally on the right spot, very nice pic Wetsom.

and I have never seen someone use them before

I have already the SFBT soundwalls, they're different. As Girafe said, i never seen something similar too, anyway thery'r simply perfect for that use.
It Would be awesome to have that walls as a downloadable lots set. Often it's not easy to create easily realistic transitions from railroads\railyards to urban, suburban or rural areas.
