Was it really this easy?

Having found myself dragged, kicking and screaming, back into Sim City 4 despite vowing not to touch the game until a new CAM came out, I've found that I have been enjoying the experience except for two things. One being the doubled capacities with commercial, which apparently can't be fixed until programming is dealt with. The other (Brought up by someone else in detail, if I remember right), is the fact the giant Somy industrials won't grow because demand is capped at 12000 for High Tech.

As for the latter, I recently discovered iLive and have been using it to create a 'custom' start for a rather large region I'm working on and thought to myself that perhaps fixing the capacity problem could be as easy as finding the values in the ColossusAddonMod_1.0.DAT and increasing them. I increased High Tech cap in Total I-HT to 24000, then reflected that change in Total Industrial by changing the Max Value from 42000 to 54000.

I'm now seeing Somy Build 2 growing, the Intercultures seem to grow much more readily than they used to, and I believe the other Somy's will have no problem appearing.

My question is: Did I do it right and not miss any important value? I'm not particularly familar with the inner workings of the game, and basically just eyeballed things.

You've got it figured out pretty well already! ;)
There are a total of six Maximum Values that should have been increased:
