Scary Black Lines!

Hello! Recently my graphics card (on an iMac) has been causing me grief, but it just really causes whites to show improperly and give everything a fuzzy look. But what's been bothering me is SimCity 4's "scary black lines".

It all started when I placed the money tree down. And black lines descended upon my city. I tried to delete it, but the damage was done. At first, I merely assumed it was a problem with the monitor, but I was soon wrong. Even after deleting the lot and removing it from the set, the black line curse follows any city opened or made. It infects it. For example,
Before you ask, though, it isn't this.

Here is one shot of it in action (but the textures are correct, thanks, BSC)

My test city is infected with the black lines (but not the big black line, that one is where I erased my name)

More Facts:
The black lines appear to change orientation when the city is moved in a direction
Default zoning (say, residential with streets) is missing half of the color (like, "proposed" and just blank lines, you know what I mean?)
In-game windows do not display the problem

My Current Plugins:
Default backgrounds
McDonald's (by Kevdan25): This is not the problem, as I had had this lot before, the lines appeared before it, and the lot was never placed
NAM March 2009
World Trade Center (BSC)
BSC Textures

That's all! What do I do? It MAY be resolution, but wouldn't it have displayed the problem before I placed the money tree?

P.S.: The city newsticker is congratulating me on a bus system and a new mass transit system. I don't have one (unless the WTC has a built-in subway)

Honestly it looks like your graphic card is broken.

I'm afraid I have to agree. Can you try to see if this problem occurs anywhere else (i.e. in other games or graphic intensive programs?). You could also try to change to software rendering, if that helps it proves the hardware is somehow causing the problem.
1. Install SC4+RH
2. Install LEX (CD&DVD helps) and latest NAM + updates
3. Play the game
4. ? ? ? ?
5. Profit!

OK, this time, does this picture look "off" to you?

A little blue, perchance?

If so, it is definitely the graphics card.

EDIT:
Sadly, this is an in-game snapshot. Nothing is installed. New city. Software rendering. This is just horrible!

This isn't my monitor, is it?

You're right!

GOOGLE EARTH also gives off black lines when at zoomed-out areas. This isn't fair! I want my computer back!

Gosh, I hate to triple-post but I am very sure that it is the graphics card (or a graphics card driver):

Will the black lines heal once it is resolved?

If it was your monitor we wouldn't be able to see it...
Try reinstalling SC4
