Yau Ma Tei, also spelled as Yaumatei, Yau Ma Ti, Yaumati or Yau-ma-Tee,
is an area in the Yau Tsim Mong district, in the south of the Kowloon peninsula in Hong Kong,
China. Dundas Street is its north border with Mong Kok Road and Austin south border with Tsim Sha Tsui.
To its west is Victoria Harbor and its east Hilly region of the Ho Man Tin •

Jade Market ~ Jade Market has an ordinary appearance, however it's bright and full of people inside,
as there are about 300 to 400 hundred jade hawkers selling jade rings, jade buddhas and jade animals etc •

Tin Hau Temple ~ is one of the most popular sites for the filming of Hong Kong gangster movies.
Located just a block north of the Jade Market, it is yet another one of the many temples in Hong Kong
dedicated to the Goddess of the Sea. The public square of this temple complex is a favorite place for Chinese
chess players and acts as the communal heart of Yaumatei. In front of the main temple, there is a row of
fortune-tellers, who are only too keen to help temple visitors see into the future •

West Kowloon Highway is a section of Route 3 in Hong Kong. This dual-3 lane highway runs for 4.2 km,
connecting Western Harbour Crossing in the south with Tsing Kwai Highway in the north. While the southern
section of the road is at grade, the northern part is on a viaduct in order to accommodate the MTR Tung Chung
Line and the Airport Express. The road was opened on 19th February, 1997 •

• It is not to be confused with the older West Kowloon Corridor , which is partly parallel to the West Kowloon Highway •

Olympic is a station on the Tung Chung Line of Hong Kong's MTR. The livery is dodger blue

• The station was originally named Tai Kok Tsui in proposals outlined by the government in the Airport Core
Programme during the 1990s.[1] In 1996, however, with Lee Lai Shan won the first ever Olympic gold medal of
Hong Kong in the event windsurfing of Atlanta 1996 Summer Olympics and two Hong Kong sportsmen,
Cheung Yiu Cheung and Chiu Chung Lun, also won Gold medals in Paralympic Games of the same year, the
(then under-construction) station was renamed Olympic on 16 December 1996, paying tribute to those achievements
of Hong Kong athletes. The station is decorated with the pictures of 1996 Summer Olympics and is named after
the Olympic Movement •
