Good luck in school dAVid. What is your major? If you don't have one yet, you might want to consider landscaping!  You have an eye for it.
I think you'll find the members here at SC4D are very patient and tolerant toward RL events. So take your time and come back when you can. We'll be waiting.

Until next time...
Joan

That map is looking great so far!

Quote
The last house for today is the Andy Warhol Estate,
the American artist lived here in the winters from 1979 to 1986.

It is also located on a cape, from where you can enjoy the wonderful sunsets.
The house an the garden are  both landmarked.
Price:12,7 Mio US-$

Zsa Zsa Beach is just down the stairways or you use the escalator, wich is built into the hill :P

Hello David,

I am happy to tell you that His Holy Imperial Majesty would like to place a bid on the Andy Warhol Estate. the sunset views, the private beach, the stunning location are well suited for our monarch to escape thy busy Court and High Society life now and then. ;D
To which account should the Lord High Treasurer transferr the 12.7 million US-dollar? Or would the oceon of wisdom preferr the acount to be settled in cash or gold bullion?  ()what()

Good luck with school Dsavid. same problem here for many of us I'm afraid. :(

Strech.

Pat

David that indeed is a great map... Very detailed...  Work hard, Study hard, but most of all Play hard... See you next update - pat

The almighty Gods of Bliss hereby offer 2 million $ for the Zsa Zsa Lodge (they wish to have a secluded place in which they can devise new plans for their beloved subjects). And Her Holiness Karen Walker may also recieve a lifetime citizenship in Bliss with all its benefits, if she so desires, should she choose to accept this offer.

@all: I will post a new Update soon.
It will show the village of Langstrand,
also called Anfalas :P
(where did I find that name huh?),
It's the place where the mosaic has been taken.

And since robin (rooker1) asked for an image
showing the transition from ploppable water
to the ocean, here it is, serving as a teaser as well.

Beautiful teaser, urban! That transition looks great! I'll be awaiting the next update here!

Jmouse

Oh joy, another first for my eyes! That transition is very impressive. Guess I'll have to look more closely at the design possibilities of plopable water.

Until next time...

Langstrand

Today's Update treats Langstrand. Langstrand is a city east to
Port Elizabeth in the state of Lothlorien.
It is well known as a tranquil retreat for the citizens of Port Elizabeth.

View on the oldest part of Langstrand. Langtstrand itself was founded in 1898,
when the plantation owner Benjamin Walker had the church and some houses built for his employees.

Langstrand is located in the district Lothlorien, while Port Elizabeth has its own district.
In Lothlorien urban sprwal has to follow strict regulations.
That's why most of the sorrunding fields ans woods remained.

View on the Langstrand (Long Beach), the beach that gave the village its name.
In 1998 Karen Walker made it possibile for people to built at the beach per decree.
Only her holiness Mrs. Karen has the possibilty to do things like that.

If you ever plan on visiting Langstrand, there will be plenty of overnight accommodations,
like the hotel Shangri-La.

Or you stay in one of the cottages west to the village.
You can rent them for around 200$ a week and
they are a good alternative to the expensive hotels and resorts.

If you prefer more privacy, we recommend you a small cottage in the mountains.

From the lodges you have the option to hike through the wide jungle or to the small river.

Langstrand looks beautiful, my friend! I love the cabins in the mountains! It's always a pleasure to see an update in Walker's Island!

EDGE4194

Beautiful update david  I always look forward to your next creation. Thanks for sharing (and allowing me to discover many new ideas   :) )

Jmouse

All is lush, beautiful and reeks of luxury as usual. The photo that really spoke to me was number 6, though, with the top-center farmland neatly draped across gentle slopes. May I ask if it was a growable or plopable achievement?
If you are doing as well in school as you are on Walker's Island, you're sure to be a straight-A student!

Until next time...
