I just installed CAM, though I am new to it i am pretty familiar with how everything around Sim City works. Before installing CAM I used 1x1 R and 1x1 C lots to fill gaps especially in some diagonal street and road areas. Now that I installed CAM these lots do not grow, they just sit as a 1x1 zoned area never developing. So does CAM disable these small lots?

The CAM does not disable 1X1 lots. I do not know if there are any 1X1 CAMelots. What stage are your 1X1 lots? Your 1X1 stage 8 lot will probably not upgrade to a stage 10 if there is nothing for the game to choose.

According to the "CAMeLots - Linking all available lots and bats" thread, there are 8 of them to be had across the various occupancy types.

It is probable they aren't growing because their growth stage hasn't been unlocked.

This will explain at which population levels you'll start seeing the stage 8+ 1x1 buldings.

Before installing I thoroughly read all CAM related info, I think I understand how the stage system now works. The problem are not CAMelots but all Residential or Commercial lots that are 1x1 in size. In essence none of the many old Maxis buildings with 1x1 lots grow and neither the few 1x1 CAMelot and CAMpatible buildings I installed. When zoning 1x1 lots just stay as zoned land without any development.

How far along are you with this particular city? If I recall correctly, there are no Maxis 1x1 lots in the first (or first few) growth stages.

I use CAM and have no problems growing 1x1 lots for Res, but I do use a maxis blocker for Residential.
