Changing maintence value
« on: June 17, 2012, 04:48:10 PM »
DLed some great forest pieces, only the maintence cost for even a simple 1x1 is way to high.  To me, $1 is to high for a forest or open grass or anything that needs little/no maintence on the park of the city.  Anyway, anyone know what I need to go a head and chance the value myself?

There are several tools but LE Prop is a good one for a beginner. Here is a lot that I have. It is similar to the one you describe.

I DLed LE Prop and it is a very easy to use program.  Only the odd thing is, in the monthly cost part it's got a 0, but in the game the lot still has a maintence cost.  I'm perplexed.  I'll mention it not and see if anyone knows if it's hidden somewhere else in there.  I'm going to go looking around in it later on after I wake up, I'm to tired to figure it out right now, maybe.  ()sad()

As I wrote my reply it hit me, it was the value of 0.  I changed it to 1 (1 per square for the multisized ones) and it changed.  1 is better then 4 per square in my book.

Hi Tilarium,

Yes I had this thing too. I can help you though.
In LE Prop there are two locations for monthly cost (don't ask me why). The first location is obvious. The second you will find if you click the lowest of the left hand blue icons; the one beneath the lightning and next to the triangle: the § like symbol. Then you find a list of costs and benefits. Here you will find another item cost.

You will find out!
I am working on a set of Rural Dutch lots: farms, rewards, windmills.... and more to come!
See my LOT-thread for the latest developments.
And here you find my cooperation with NEXIS.
And these are my uploads to the STEX.
