I finally made the decision to install cam, and much to my dismay found that after the install all the lots i had previously downloaded had been erased.  Is cam incompatible with other downloaded buildings?

CAM shouldn't have erased any of your plugins it just adds extra growth stages ... did you do anything else when you installed it like run a cleanitol file?

nope, just installed cam.  all of my buildings were gone except for the ones by one author

Well I'm baffled, when you installed the CAM did you check that all the game settings remained the same, if those change then a lot of the buildings and props will vanish.

im baffled to.  thanks for your input though.  with computers, who knows what goes on sometimes?  that's what i get for not backing my folder up
