Awesome job with the last update and teaser  &apls   You do such a perfect job creating small towns that blend well with the countryside around them!

I certainly understand working on something else when you're frustrated with your main project  :D  In fact I've been doing more MD stuff lately because I'm a bit overwhelmed with a big project I'm also doing. My MD project is getting too big though so maybe I find something else easier than that ;)

Best of luck continuing with the horses (when you're ready)

@kergelen, benedict: Thank you very much! I’m glad you liked my pictures :)
@kelis: Thanks very much for your kind comment!
@solsystem: Thank you :)
@noah: Thanks so much, I know how it feels when the MD develops some sort of its own life … it becomes really hard to be innovative in every single update … but at least it is a challenge time and time again.
@RickD, rooker, nas-t, Ricardo: Thank you all very much!

Beautiful detailing. I especially like the church and the graveyard. That's what I'd call a good detailed graveyard!

I especially like the street mod. I have seen it and downloaded it, but never saw it in use as much as in your images. Didn't take the time to test it myself.
It looks better than I thought.

please continue your work.  &apls

Nice pictures, but it is all too British! But if you like it, it was approved!  :P  :D
I like Britain, particularly their food! And that's no joke! But the brick houses want me in the game and in real life, not just fallen. But it is there! hehe! I'm curious what will come.

Just spectacular  &apls &apls  Everything looks great, from the industrial areas to the shops and from the winding rails to the rows of houses! The churchyard with the diagonal stone walls fits so perfectly and the flora is perfectly done. The creek in the second picture is also particularly nice (I wish I could make that water look that good  ;) )

This update is a perfect reminder of why Alba Ceann mu Dheas is one of the best MDs around!

PS, halfway to the Classics  &dance

I thank you all very much for commenting and I'll give you you personal answers together with the next update :)

I do not know yet, when the next update will be ready, but at least I had a little progress today. Some know that I've been looking for a house. Actually I didn't find one but I found a piece of land instead where I'm going to build my new home! I signed the contract yesterday. So most of you will be able to imagine that I have plenty of things to do and plan right now so time for SC4 is really short. But I pormise there will be a new update, soon :)

Thanks for your patience :)

Thanks to the SC4D-Team, especially Noahclem and Jmouse I’ll be able to continue this MD although I had to have a little break! Thank you very much again!

I was busy planning my new home so I didn’t have time to go on with my MD. But now the plans have developed, the days become shorter and I have time and creativity again for SC4 and I already have plans.

Here some pictures of Douglas industrial estate.

The slaughterhouse:

And the „Wheat-Factory“ with distribution center. At least this was the occasion to present one of my favorite BATs by jestarr, the huge Sugar Warehouse.

These were the last pictures from Kilmarnock District as the map is complete now. I really look forward to the next map, to new ideas, stories and so on. I really have to admit that these last pictures were quite hard to create because I really needed some change, a new map, new settings end new challenges.

When I was „desining“ those last parts of the map, I remembered how many things were created just for this map. I really became a little bit sentimental and I hav

Framly for great cooperation and all his brilliant ideas and
the members of SFBT for helpful hints and instructions.

And I have to thank allof you visitors for your motivation, your helpful critiques and all other hints and instructions!

As always I have a “Map of the map” for you:

For this Map I have created:

-   the little white house from Loch Riecawar
-   the stable for Straiton
-   the Oast House for Straiton Mill
-   Doon Castle
-   the stable for Hillside
-   the riding hall for Hillside

-   the Maccriddle milkfarm
-   Sorn Castle Turbine House
-   Sorn Castle Gate House
-   Sorn Castle Kilknowe Cottage
-   the buildings of Minerow
-   Sanquhar Tollbooth House

-   Douglas St. Brides Church
-   Beer-Props
-   a milking barn
-   Drumlanrig Castle
-   a set of coaches
-   Kyle Castle

And RFR released the Maize Set, the deers and boars and we started working on our hay project which is not finished yet.

See you soon on the next map….

Wow, the slaughterhouse is stunning! Glad it has railroad access :)

Although I wouldn't have electrified that part, it's really rare to have industrial connections served by electric engines. They're not really practical to do shunting work. Then again, it's not impossible, of course.
