Thanks!
io_bg: Thanks! We'll be taking a closer look at the marina in the next update.

Today we'll take a first look at West Heath, a medium sized city on the coast. West Heath is notable for it's modest marina, historic buildings and bright nightlife. There is very little industry here, most people who live in West Heath are employed in the neighbouring town of Chelmarsh.

Just a quick introduction today, we'll take a closer look at various points of the city over the next few updates.
Many thanks for taking the time to look at my Diary, all comments are gratefully received!

Next up: We'll take a closer look at the Marina.

Nice marina you have here, great work !
I just think that maybe you have a bit to much road & avenues in the city next to the port, but anyway this is great :)

Great job with the marina area!  &apls  I really need to play around with those PEG CSK lots in Siilijoki. I also love how your forests look with just a touch of fall colors starting to show.

And St Andrews seemed a nice place to put post #1000  ;)

The more times I see the marina area, the more I like it.  You have done a nice job on this one, and to me it seems very realistic.  Now if i just had a house on that little island where I could sit on the porch and watch the ships sail out and back in.  ;D

The marina is looking great, and I think you have done a wonderful job of placing everything into the landscape (which is also very well done here).

Top Marina!

The setting must be very popular with the rich Sims in their yachts!

Keep up the good work!

Benoit: Thanks! Road layout/ city planning isn't my strong point, I prefer making landscapes so you may well be right!

marsh: Many thanks!

Tomas Neto: Cheers!

Skimbo: Thank you sir!

Raphael: Many thanks! The landscaping was a real pain and I nearly gave up on it, but I'm pleased with how it came out.

supremec: Cheers!

Noah: Congratulations on 1000 posts & thanks for using that landmark on my MD! I think the Marina lots are Peg's best work, the detail is perfect. The trees are Girafe's seasonal and evergreen oaks in the main. I was really trying to get that 'just turning to autumn' look so I'm glad you noticed  :)

Shark7: Thank you! As with most of my work, this marina is based on a real one (sorry I don't have a copy of the picture I used). I always aim to make things look as real as the game allows.

kwakelaar: Many thanks! As I mentioned above, the landscaping was hard work and I was on the verge of giving up at one point, I just couldn't get it quite right....

wallasey: Many thanks sir!

And so to the city centre! The most densely built upon in the area plays home to the many trappings that accompany the marina and the people that are use it.

Great work!
I went through all the pics two times wanting to find something that I didn't like......but I couldn't find anything.
Your transit layout works well, your chioce of custom content all fits together nicley and the overall feel I get is really good.
It was a pleasure sipping my morning coffee and going through your MD.
