Map of the never build roads
On the road map you'll see that there are A numbers missing. These are motorways numbers that once planned, but never be built. For the first time, I show this plans in my MD. The reason that the roads are not built, or build one a smaller scale is difficult to say. Some plans were simply not needed. Others were impossible to implement as motorway. Remember that the region is started whit out the RHW-mod.

A small note on the map. The A13 is indicated on the map, but soon there will be a small part be built. The part between the A4 at Boxtel - and the A28 at Ressen. This motorway should not be built because it is a natural area. As part of the rail-link with Belgium has decided to build a tunnel under the natural area inc. a tunnel for the motorway A13. To finance this project will be the A13 a toll road. The local residents and the nature organizations will be involved in the design of this project.

First post
Here he is my first post on this board. Sorry for my bad English anyway.

I build a European region here some pictures,

An what do you think?

 Very nice first post.
Love the highway land bridge over all that rail.  In one of the frist pics, I would suggest the rail going over the canal, instead of under.  You show a very good mix of W2W and newer commercial towers together, looks believable this way.  Especially because you placed the towers along the water front, prime property there.  I would also make one other suggetion for you...and that is to turn off the grid when taking pics, (press"G" ).
Good to see another new MD. &apls

Nice work on your large industrial areas, and great looking mix of new and old buildings.

Very nice start, fantastic images!!!

So time for a update!

'Station oost' one little station from the big city (the city of the first post).

University campus.

The north side of the big city.

The N267 is build for the office and high tech park. En has a connection whit the A1 and the N261.

This is the whole region, so far.

Comments?

Nice update. I was wondering for a moment why you build two elevated train lines next to each other. Then I realized that one is heavy and the other light rail.  ;)

Upgrading A1 near the airport 2x3. This whole highway will be upgrade soon.

Paul 999

The new highway near the airport. Interchanges A4 and A5.

The highway A4 and the intersection whit the N260/N261.

Very nice highway. I am just not sure about the roundabout where the avenue transitions to a two lane road. Seems like a major bottleneck to me.

Nice area. Spatious, great railways AND great highways. That intersection in the last update with the weak connection realized over the exit ramps is a great idea.

However you should take care to take off the grid. Also your JPGs are rather huger; you could reduce them to 150-200 kb per picture without any remarkable loss of quality.

Also I would not zone agriculture (or anything else) directly next to the Highway. That brown base texture next to the fields in your intersection pics really distracts; just dezone the tiles next to the Ramps and it'll look way better.

Take care!

So time for a update, i like the RHW tool. Al highways of the region while be upgrade soon. Here a look at the old highway A1, i will upgrade this highway soon.

We have mad a decision in the trace for the new North-East highway. The first part can be build, the industries will be move soon.

This part of the A1 will be upgrade to 2x4.

Interchange whit the A4 near the airport.

A lots of highways, A1, A4, A5 and the A6.

I'm missing one thing: signs. How do people know where they are going? I have quite a lot signpacks on the STEX, as well as an Euro RHW texture mod.
Lurk mode: ACTIVE

I have to agree a bit with msrtln even though I am a bit lazy with signs, too - but how do you find your exit in this labyrinth of highways and ramps?  :D

Nagging Ol' Nardo has found something else to nag on, though:

First picture, that avenue that crosses the river and ends in that avenue roundabout: The last exit on the left just before the border of the map, why didn't you stay up and connect the avenue with the road with a single short ramp?

Other than that: I enjoyed that update!  :)

Take care
