I came across this excellent comparison chart by ripplejet on ST (http://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=42&threadid=84518) and was just hoping an updated version could be made, incorporating the different versions of ennedi's slope mod and any other important ones that have been developed in recent times. (for eg this SCRT one http://www.simtropolis.com/stex/details.cfm?id=20571) I just figured I'd be more likely to run into him here than there. It's very useful info to look over and I'm sure others would appreciate it as well.

not quite sure if this is what youre looking for, but ennedi made a chart when he made his slope mod.

thanks for that, and it helps to a degree. What I am after is the same chart I showed but with all three? versions of ennedi's slope mod, plus any other common ones included (plus those already on the chart) I just am finding it a useful resource as I slowly get my head around which slope mod I'll settle on and any modifications I may want to make for my own various networks.

RippleJet

Adam should post here about his own slope mods... ::)

The main difference between Adam's slope mods and those listed above,
is that Adam also tweaked the MaxNetworkSlopeChange,
which is a property that determines how fast the slope can change.

All above slope mods allow the slope to change from 0 to maximum in one single tile,
whereas Adam restricted the maximum slope change per tile,
resulting in a much smoother start and finish of the slopes.

Ennedi

I will make a complete comparison including various parameters (not only the MaxSlopeChange) during weekend, now I'm extremely busy.

Best regards for all!

Adam

Edit: I will compare my mods with another ones too.

awesome, thanks heaps (south australian for lots)

and thanks ripplejet, after hearing what you said about the 'MaxNetworkSlopeChange' I'm inclined to stay with one of ennedi's (I'm currently using the gentlest version) but I still want to see it all laid out.
